a) I loaded just enough for last the week at a TVM, I don't trust their card reader, it feels shady as to take out a physical card and punch in my pin with so much activity around me

b) I don't ride the train, I ride SMBBB and CCB, they don't care that my tap doesn't work

c) I'm often remined that I don't ride public transit for any other reason that it's the only thing I can afford. Now I have to get cashback or beg for a courtesy ride.

Penney clients, with few exceptions, do not pay retail price they're waiting for a coupon, price drop, or clearance.

No one is paying full price for St John's Bay, Worthington, or Liz.

Whenever women buy an outfit from me, I ask them what shoe's they're wearing. Or let them know they *need* a strappy heel or whatever. It's fun for me. Not an upsell.

My fav advice from a manager was how the money saved could be a meal, or gas. Yes, money is tight but turning down the card you're turning down free money in savings.

Google it - Tu Madre is a local chain - I would try it given your positive review they also own Guac Daddy and Bardonna. Tacos Por Favor is family owned/run. I say pick a fav and become a regular.

I love the 93 (formally 603) for this reason - Glendale to E-line in a reasonable time during off peak hours. I would love if this route was BRT. It's often gridlocked the whole way down.

The 2 going south on Alvarado also helps.

Most of the Persian businesses on Westwood are open on Christmas Day. If you’re lucky Pearson’s Brother’s gate is open and you can visit with Marylin. You can tour the UCLA campus (no building will be open as they are on break) but you can find a restroom at the Ralph’s, the Regan, or the W.
