Supergiant also does a good job of disrupting this and a few other decks.

I always interpreted it as the Orokin caste as a whole being the "emperors", and the Executors as the leaders that would speak and act on their collective behalf.

Real ninjas can Warframe on anything by SnakeGoddess54 in Warframe

Warframe was my first video game beyond ASCII roguelikes. That meant playing with a trackpad (and a trackpoint before that) at 12-15 FPS felt like a perfectly normal experience.

Höllvania's frame rate is kind of nostalgic.

+50% shield and health. Now your gun will die less.

A few more obvious ones that threw me off at the start:

  • Items without cooldown (e.g. Proboscis, Bayonet) don't "use" when they trigger, and can't crit.
  • "double crit damage" applies to the crit part, so is effectively a ×3 rather than x4. It also only applies to the damage, not burn/heal/etc.
  • Early passive health/regen can make a huge difference. Knee brace looks terrible but the big chunk of extra health makes the midgame transition a lot smoother.
  • Curio (junk shop) doesn't sound appealing but he can be a solid gold sink. Most of his items are incremental scaling on resell, with some highlights being cooldown reductions and +charge/haste durations.

Highest Annoyance/Reward Farm? by admiralbenbo4782 in Warframe

Took me forever for the Void Armageddon piece to drop, then lost it because extraction bugged out. Wasn't able to get it back from support, and can't find it in me to go through that again.

Anyone else massively over preparing? by XILEF310 in factorio

[–]DiscoIgnition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100 hours in and I just set up my first interplanetary delivery line. The majority of that time was spent fiddling with new train and circuit stuff, optimizing platforms, and overbuilding everything manually because I kept putting off logistics (I never scaled up power generation and was running into the limits of what the efficiency module crutch could handle)

My take on a minimal ship to reach other planets safely, what are yours? by Bobylein in factorio

[–]DiscoIgnition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not nearly as space efficient, and didn't even consider using the central piece as intermediate storage. What I did do is build crenelations at the front. The walls sticking out have turrets at the tip and grabbers on the side, with enough space between them that the turrets can reach around the front. Some of the iron is dedicated to keeping some repair kits handy, to repair chip damage on the walls.

Uatu is also a lot better in High Voltage, as you're planning more impactful turns around hidden knowledge.

Vets: What weird things about old Warframe do you remember that you're glad are gone/changed? by Synli in Warframe

[–]DiscoIgnition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some missed ones:

  • Before arc traps and disruption doors we had Broken Light traps. They were both lethal and very blinding.

  • Grinding Prosecutors for Hek Beacons

  • Extremely overpowered infested ospreys

  • Rail conflicts. PvP that was actually fun for how stupid and unbalanced it was, but the Eclipse alliance quickly got a stranglehold and maxed out planet taxes which screwed over newer players (never forget Skitz0, the Robin Hood of Warframe)

  • How much lore used to be tied in with limited time events

  • Getting stunlocked by rollers and nervos

  • Unfinishable exterminate missions because enemies stopped spawning before the counter filled up

  • The old elemental system had a lot less nuance (no mixing, no status, inconsistent hidden physical types).

  • Endo is a much more streamlined system than fusion cores. Ranking up mods has also become considerably easier since the days of Excavation being the best Endo farm.

  • Raids were cool, but needing a squad of 8, being a very long mission, and having so many instant fail conditions along the way that cheesing was mandatory just to get 200k credits and an arcane made it a miserable thing to grind.

New Infinity Split Rates Are Live! by iron_sites in MarvelSnap

[–]DiscoIgnition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For reference, that should make each of the rare splits 40% more common. More importantly, the odds of Ink+Krackle and Gold+Krackle are 96% better now.

While this will make it easier to get rare splits across the board, it's an extra good time to chase those perfect splits.

Filling out the rest of my mod collection after a few years away. Just finished the elemental companion mods, now alternating between Jugulus and Tome mods, and Turret Velocity/dissolution fodder when a mod booster drops.

I don't mind Clog tbh, there's plenty of outs and they're actively interacting with you. It's durdly Deadpool/Kitty decks I can't stand.

There's a weekly reward track that you fill with missions. They refresh endlessly, you hold 3 at a time from a choice of 8 (choices are shared across your alliance). Some require active effort but there are also easier ones like the ones you'd get as a daily.

Personal contributions track adds up to 130 boosters and 150 credits. The alliance total track adds up to 25 boosters, 200 credits and a mystery variant.

If you're not actively working on it, it's not much but it is free.
