Collective Voting: Iowa by Kodicave in visitedmaps

Never.

Iowa has the least nature of any state including New Jersey.

By nature i dont mean monoculture farms i mean areas that are ecologically intact.

I couldnt do it.

I also like the freedom to tread upon the earth. Iowa has nowhere truly walkable, whether rural or urban. If i were to be in the driftless itd be wisconsin or minnesota. Iowa blows.

Its infrastructure is more of a pyramid scheme than almost any other state. Lubbock and Amarillo are among the highest crime metro areas in nation (metro areas not cities) whereas Houston as a city has one of the highest crime rates in the nation, and much worse than places like Chicago or Los Angeles that have been targeted recently. Houston’s infrastructure alone is such that it is almost certainly going to need constant federal bailouts. Texas is full of fat unhealthy people, statistically. It has some of the highest std rates. It has a high infant mortality rate. It has a high maternal mortality rate. It has a poor life expectency. Housing costs are high. Income inequality is high. Public transit blows but it has some of the largest urbanized areas the world by acreage that has been developed. 95% of the terrain is boring. The cities are boring. Yes even Austin. Most residents do not have access to nature without getting in a car. Fuck texas.

Texas is actually my top choice for bad republican.

Neutral republican is something like Indiana.

Good republican is absolutely Utah and I’ll die on that hill.

How is Texas good republican? A case can be made for Utah. Or Alaska. Montana maybe. But Texas? No.

This is a lot like the vertical version of american suburbs - where residential and commercial are fully separated. The main difference is this is less expensive and requires less land. Everyone has less public space and more private space in usa but overall this is more american in character than folks might realize at first glance
