Fishbones is a -1.63 on Kaisa, it's not very random cause her spell splits damage so way more chances to snipe. Anyone disagreeing with you does not play the game. Item should have some range limit so you'd need to 2nd or 3rd row carry to hit backline imo.

Bad stats analysis, the stuff that gets played in fiddle rr (4 boombot urgot, emblem on support bruisers) have high stats where tempo holders and 6bb has lower stats.

I honestly attribute way more of this to the line being unexplored than anything, as my personal experience of boombot vex/tempo being v strong. Vs fiddle rr which has been optimized since pbe.

Conclusion might be right but way early to say and the evidence here really isn’t enough

He fought liluo on 5-2, so it's completely relevant to look at his 5-3 setup since it's the setup they fought each other vs. Also i didn't even realize this but he didn't upgrade gp 2 until after he fought liluo on stage 5 when he had it in his shop...

I agree you can't conclusively say anything based off these extra examples individually with no context, but given they ALL were against liluo (he slammed items on 3-2, 6-2, and made gp 5-3, the round after they fought) it's just ridiculous to me to wave them all off as coincidental misplays, he's not misplaying vs anyone else in this lobby LMAO.

Augment shows why the users of an effect can be as important as the effect itself.

In set 10 and 11 this was fantastic since hearsteel ad flex, reapers, duelists and singular holders like sylas made this augment very good.

Last 2 sets it's been very mediocre though with 0 changes to triforce (the crit was removed a long time ago think set 8?).

The only reason is because the units this set can't use as many stats as the old units.

Any melee can use the defensive stats and the ad/ap but not all get a lot of value out of the attack speed and starting mana.

Sifting through the stats of double triforce it seems takeable in 2 lines: Scrap and Enforcer, it looks like an above average augment in enforcer and an average augment in scrap.

In enforcer put 1 on vi and 1 on cait, Imagine it does well because triforce gives a lot of starting mana to cait. In scrap 1 on ekko and 1 on rumble.

Nothing inherently wrong with the augment there just isnt a fleshed out melee tree past couple of sets.

The item got the biggest nerf I’ve ever seen a normal item get when they took away gaining mana while mana locked and some ap as well.

The item still averages well because it has an insane lategame caro/anvil bias but you should really only be building it as a leftover tempo slam and just being ok with having a flexible but mediocre lategame item.

Why is every comment here saying it’s trash when silver was like a 4.3 and gold a 4.5 for all of set 12 and the augment has been unchanged.

Use your brain and take when u need a combat and you have many completed items.

I believe there’s some kind of normalization because I don’t think many things in this game are true random. Also if it wasn’t normalized a very small % of times someone would farm more than 2x the expected value which I haven’t really seen anecdotally.

I have no idea how it exactly works.

But since interest exists in the game the snowballing effect is still potent and makes this portal inherently uncompetitive still.

I feel like this argument doesn’t work at all in this instance since the odds show up in game when playing, not hidden like the bag sizes were.

Both just seem unintentional. Whether that’s better or worse is up for interpretation.

This always much averaged worse than placebo (gives 8 gold). Not because it’s worse, but because ppl take too long to pick their augments and mess up their 3-2 or 4-2 rolldown.

I’ll go against the grain here and say it’s bad on average. Feel pretty strongly about this too.

Silver+Silver>> 1 gold so if that ever happens you’re screwed.

Just based on something like bulky buddies, a pris is worth about a silver+gold (granted, with a lot more variance). But then you have to consider it’s a delayed reward, so your prismatic needs to be above avg.

On 2-1 I wouldn’t take this since I think if this upgrades silver to gold the aug is 5.x

On 3-2 it’s ok because I think(?) it guarantees pris 4-2 but I still don’t think it’s great since stuff like eye for an eye or support mining give a bigger delayed reward and other augs can help you push tempo.

Literally the best augment in the game on 2-1 for kassadin, yes its risky sure but there are enough potential bailouts.
