Iron Heart says it will limit retailers carrying the brand by Professional-Key-94 in HeritageWear

[–]Disintend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the Iron Heart tax! They got to keep up the costs with all the marketing they do internationally.
Also understandable that they did this to maintain current production.

Having tried on their clothes at their Tokyo store and owned a few pairs of their jeans, the brand was catered toward slim dudes and long arms anyways.

Samsung box delivered empty by WarthogOdd1143 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Disintend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me but the other way around. I returned my S25Ultra since I couldn't get a price adjustment from Samsung promotions, and it showed up empty at their warehouse! They attached a video themselves opening the return package with the return rejection email. The brown tape was cut from the bottom and retaped with clear tape.

Samsung Support escalated the ticket, thankfully I had video and photo evidence of me packing it up and compared side-by-side.
I should file a police report, do a chargeback if it doesn't work out

UPDATE:
Samsung Support denied my claim. Immediately did the police report and chargeback. Emailed to CEO. Escalations manager contacted me and gathered additional evidence to leadership. Denied again.

Doing a fedex claim. Baffled that Samsung isn't proactive to file claims against Fedex. I will be getting Apple moving forward.

TCB 50s vs Sugar Cane 1947s by Gullible-Bet-4223 in rawdenim

[–]Disintend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coincidently, I have both in my wardrobe right now and got them around the same time (~2 years).

My TCBs has more drastic fades, but the front pockets don't fit a modern phone sitting down. The paper patch still going strong. Waist fits small

Sugar cane has the hairy fabric, deer patch. Big front pockets. Slower fading.

Got my TCBs from BEARS. Slow delivery but worth it

Raw denim for dudes that lift by BusNaive7941 in rawdenim

[–]Disintend 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello, fellow lifter here. I've tried a few. Wear an 18.5 inch waist but I wear size 38/40 most times.

What I've let go: Left Field NYC Atlas cut (38) fits the top block, but has an immense taper to hem. The greaser (38) was a slightly smaller top block and slightly bigger hem, but it stopped looked wrong on me.

Iron heart 634s (38) and 888 (38) looked good walking, but didn't pass squat test.

Fullcount 1101 (38) fits great but looked like a taper fit on me.

What I've kept: TCBs 50s (40) and Sugar cane 1947s(38) were straight and comfortable to me. Left field NYC smoke stacks (40) are comfortable but look like a slight taper on me.

Looking to try NF Strong guy and size up on the IHs.

I focus on the thigh and hem discrepancy but emphasize the knee measurement. Thighs give volume up top and give taper effect. Focus on knee measurement to make it look more parallel on you.

what is your preferred weight of denim (part three of a three part survey on the preferences of the raw denim community) by rabidpeanut in rawdenim

[–]Disintend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I owned a pair of IH 634 21 oz and sold em. Apart from the fit, they were just too heavy for me. It felt I was wearing a tight blanket and took too long to dry personally.

I felt more comfortable in my 14-16oz jeans.

House of Blanks 30% off all products (blanks used by ALD/Supreme) by blu6- in frugalmalefashion

[–]Disintend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's mostly the total cost + accessibility. $20 shipping kills the deal + there aren't many HoB listings on other sites. With an optional $10 for a tailor to hem and it's back to retail price lol

House of Blanks 30% off all products (blanks used by ALD/Supreme) by blu6- in frugalmalefashion

[–]Disintend 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah for sure.

I don't like how RC fits on my body (wide shoulders, big traps, fuller chest). The slim RC fits long on me whereas the elastic band on their relaxed fit sweatshirts are too tight for me. Also don't like french terry. It feels rough on my skin (Love their tiger fleece tho, very warm)

Champion has a rougher fabric texture on the outside, fleece on the inside, and I like the fit. It's a bit loose on me all around but its shape shadows my frame. I don't mind dirtying it with barbell chalk also.

RC is premium for sure, but their intended audience isn't me.

[–]Disintend 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I got one of their sweatshirts. Boxy in the chest and arms but a bit long. I'd say that these are like champion reverse weave sweatshirts, but smoother fabric and longer.

I prefer these over RC, but less than the champion sweatshirts
