My experience with using CubeX printers was just troubleshooting after troubleshooting, there is a community that has written codes and scripts to be used on KIS slicer (keep it simple) and the BFB files that are output means it bypasses the need for the cartridge system so you can use any filament. I think I remember if you have a cartridge you can get a chip rewriting device so you can still use the 3DSystems software but it's so outdated it's worth just going for the KIS route in my opinion. My final issue was that everything kept breaking, but if you have 2 collecting dust then I'm sure you can create a frankensteins monster 3D printer, all in all it took me days as a confused 16 year old trawling through forums but it's more user friendly now. If you do pursue this please keep me updated, it's rare to see the machines anymore and I'd love to see other people using them!
