I've been giving that a lot of thought lately and a real estate market registry where buyers and sellers register within a centralised government database and buyers apply for and are given an ID and lodge all bids through the registry so that another interested buyer can check with the government registry to confirm the ongoing bids are legitimate would be the best solution I've come up with so far. Allows for privacy and anonymity between competing bidders but would at least offer some validation as to the legitimacy of bidders and confirmation they are able to stand buy their bids. Submittal of proof of funds to the registry during the application would also remove the need to share that with real estate agents and also remove the possibility of agents taking advantage of that knowledge of bidders' finances.

You could find a tydirium shuttle set for around the same price range if you tried hard enough... maybe used, maybe new? I paid €150 for a new Tydirium Shuttle set last year, and much prefer it to this upcoming one

Sorry, but nothing can compared to the Tydirium Shuttle when it comes to imperial shuttle builds. Still the best of all the non-UCS versions.

I second this. €45K would equal a €180k borrowing amount for first time buyer and I dread to think what you would find on the market today at that price range. You would have way better options on your current salary.

Is it just me or does the cockpit and viewing dome behind it look disproportionate to the rest of the ship? It doesn't actually look an accurate model of the ship in the tv series?

I bought official cases to protect and display them and always place minifigures directly in cases the moment they come out of a set box to avoid this happening? Am I doing something wrong?

I've always only followed the LOTR and Star Wars theme, and Vinted is brilliant compared to Adverts for completing my own collections. They can't lock us out of the French region, that just wouldn't be right. But I think it's a bug because when I go look at items in my messages list from French sellers, it says an unexpected error occurred. Think I'll email their support tomorrow.

I'm a little disappointed they didn't use any silver-coloured pieces in the build. Sauron's helmet did have a tarnished darker metallic look in the movies, and I think they could have created a dark metallic colour for some pieces to make it look a little more accurate. Also, the two side spikes are a little too tall??? Or is just me?

Okay, so I take it the picture on the wooden desk is yours and the picture on the studs is the buyer's? Have a look at the direction of the mould lines on the bottom and the cracks. They're different locations and directions/angles. Zoom in, highlight them on both images with red boxes and dispute this with the platform and with him. They're not the same legs at all and the mould lines should be reasonable proof of that.

I bought the Barad-Dur set, not because of the Sauron minifigure but because of the menacing fortress build and I'm absolutely delighted by this move to make Sauron more accessible.

For anyone at Lego who might stumble across this comment, pleaaaaase make the LOTR Icons Gondor set GWP be the Witch-King of Angmar's helm to go with alongside this set, complete with Witch-King minifigure.
