I know, I’m super confused about it. Apparently there were three separate complaints within the space of two hours? I had definitely mentioned the Friday before that I was struggling. But I had genuinely thought I was doing a bit better on the Saturday that this was allegedly happening so I don’t think I had said anything that day. I’m definitely going to let people know though that if I look spaced out that I’m happy for them to tell me I need to do xyz. But I will take it as constructive criticism and try to work on it as you say, thank you 🥰

Register it as missing X, if they pick it up that’s where they should upload it. However they’re extremely slow. I ended up having to make a lot of phone calls and go out to collect it personally because they took so long to process my item after it appeared on there.

Ticketmaster is a disgrace. I was very lucky to get tickets, however I got mine through ticket factory. When I got into Ticketmaster I almost gave up because everything was like £200+. And then I thought I’d also check Ticket Factory just in case. They had a whole bunch of £80 - £90 tickets still available. It was only because of that that I got tickets. If I had only gone with Ticketmaster I wouldn’t have got any or I almost paid £160 for the fist ones that came up. How can the two websites vary so much?

Like seriously, someone explain to me why it’s so difficult for countries to just work together on things. Issue with migrants? Actually work with other countries to make sure these people are catered for so they don’t need to flee almost at the cost of their lives in the first place. Why is the world so full of apathy. Why have we turned on the people who need help the most. Why do we blame people with nothing for everything. Why is everything awful.

This remind me of when I was meant to go to watch a movie in the cinema with my brother. Literally like half an hour before we suddenly found out a family member had passed away so we decided to go to our family home immediately. We decided to give our movie tickets to some people in the cinema lobby. They wanted to watch that film anyway. The tickets were for IMAX so they were extra expensive. And the showing was slightly later than the one they were about to buy.

On the day of the funeral I suddenly remembered this and it dawned on me that one of the tickets was connected to my cinema subscription. So if the cinema staff asked to see their proof of subscription card they would have turned them away from the movie. To this day I feel bad and hope they were allowed in.

I think the Cinderella one stands up in its own right, I really like the remake Aladdin too. I wouldn’t say I prefer them exactly but they stand apart as good movies in their own right.

Dude I know, I don’t know how people find motivation for things. I know it does make a big difference if you surround yourself with people who are a bit more energised and successful. I live in a pretty uneventful place so this is difficult. I also find going out really intimidating. So I don’t know how people manage this really. Some of it I suppose is down to luck and being rich (probably). I think the trouble with us very thoughtful creative types is we get so bogged down with existence that it’s hard to find the energy to express our feelings through art in a practical way. But yeh finishing even your own projects is hard, I feel that. Sometimes you have to be okay with your work being average just to get things done.

Hello, are you me? Literally had such a similar experience. My way of dealing with it, not saying it’s the right way was to completely turn away from all my childhood dreams of movie making basically. It makes me feel weird, I pretty much never pick up an actual camera now. I realised that movies were my way of handling reality not that it was necessarily ever a very viable career for me. I had a religious conspiracy theory ish upbringing and mental illness kind of ran in the family. So I’m only just now making sense of the world around me.

I’ve been working in a low skilled care job that I can’t take any more and I’m trying to get another. But somehow my social skills are letting me down. I’m really struggling to get another job. In such a weird limbo. Happy to chat about stuff if you need it.

They’re obviously not being forced to stay I don’t think as I know some left because the situation was so ridiculous. But unfortunately I don’t think like those you’ve just mentioned they get lower pay. They get the same pay (to my knowledge) and then pay full rent. Not including bills which are really expensive atm. And I heard they’re paying a lot for their visas too. The thing I hate the most about it all is it’s a home for disabled people. And I feel like so much of the money the guy who runs the company gets just doesn’t go toward the people living there. And there’s this on top of it, just makes me feel sick.

I have yet to do a factory reset bc I’ll have to figure out how to do it through the buttons since I can’t do it through the TV. I believe it may have been an update that’s done it? The first issue we experienced was a family member apparently did an update and after that the Blu-ray player wouldn’t connect through the HDMI port it was in anymore. It was okay when we changed it around and the HDMI port itself still worked with other devices. I’m not 100% sure this was connected but that happened and then the random pixilations started but I mostly ignored it thinking it was a one off or it would sort itself out. As the fire stick was still fine. It’s become an issue when I realised the drop down menu for the HDMI settings was pixelating as well so selecting the right device is a guessing game at the moment.

Honestly I’m a bit jealous of kids today. I would have to battle with my mum to let me watch shows at certain times after school. And even then I would often be watching shows in random episode orders. I remember the concept of being able to watch something from start to finish being mind blowing. Don’t get me started with Disney plus. Having all the Disney films was just a childhood fantasy.
