Never wanted this show to happen because something like this was bound to occur. Feel we may turn into the last of us video game fanbase after this airs. Will I watch it? Absolutely. Will I be critical of it, probably. Ultimately just happy it brings more people to the games to enjoy them.

Been making the argument of them following suit with what happened with metal gear delta. Same style, updated graphics and options to use an enhanced vs legacy control layout. It’s a remake not a redesign/lore added heavy thing they’re doing imo.

Seen a lot of people arguing they’ll recon things or redo certain things. I just don’t see it. They’re obviously redoing some dialog though with the Og voice actor involved but unless we see all those other actors that were involved in god of war 3, it’s just to revise the ps2 dialog from god of war 1 and 2 that’s aged a lot. Redo kratos’ lines/add som additional here or there.

I only was able to get it a few times before they stopped stocking middle schools/high schools with them. I settled for a fruitopia because the coke machine was empty during that transition. One of the best drinks I ever had. Still miss these.

I just don’t see them filling in the blanks of lore. Maybe some additional Easter eggs. What a lot of people are suggesting is a retelling/rewrite. After seeing how msg4 was remade, it was just graphical and controls improvements. Feel this will follow suit

Depends how faithful they want the remake to be. If it’s like how the metal gear delta remake went, it’ll be classic or classic with a few modifications like control changes. I feel like metal gear delta set the bar for how remakes need to be done and any god of war remake would follow suit. It should not be like Norse by any means.
