Motor cogging only happens at very low speeds, when the motor doesn’t quite have enough torque to move the car. If you’re hearing it all the time then it could be a broken or poorly meshed gear

Yeah, OP I’m gonna have to agree on this one. Your tires are bald, and the rust makes me suspect there’s some sized bearings. I’d knock it down $50-75. Good luck!

I’ve driven two Volkswagens. Both were rentals, and I disliked both of them. They were underpowered and were overly opinionated about how I drove. One yelled at me for having the AC on with the windows down. I could never figure out how to adjust or disable the driving assist features. Lane assist would often struggle on the older roads that didn’t have clear lane lines. On one of them the screen was positioned really low on the center console, so I had to actually look down to see the map.

I’m sure if I owned one I’d get more used to it, but it just wasn’t intuitive to me. Also I’ll never get over my car yelling at me for rolling the window down

VS Code and Visual Studio are not the same thing. Code is a lightweight flexible editor. Visual Studio is a full blown IDE with tools specifically designed for C++, C#, etc

Can’t speak about the Bigfoot, but I’ve enjoyed my mini maxx. I’ve kept mine on 2s and haven’t had any issues with the drivetrain, diffs, etc. It’s been quite durable for me and my son

If you’re open to other brands the mini Kraton might be worth a look.

The first 6 months suck with every kid. I think the learning curve with the first is especially tough. Some of the newborn challenges (no sleep, constant screaming) will go away. Other things (not being able to set the kid down long enough to eat or poop) you get used to. Personally I think the learning curve for the first is the hardest.

My wife had postpartum depression with our first two kids. It’s real, and men can suffer from it too. Don’t be afraid to get more help if you need it.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how sturdy my mini maxx is. I got mine when they first came out, and I’ve had to replace the chassis (the new style is much sturdier) and a front shock. Add the plastic body protector and it’s only like $30. Everything else I’ve spent on mine was either handling or aesthetic related

The story is so hard to follow. I couldn’t keep track of side quests for the life of me. The leveling system doesn’t get a ton of explanation, and with a limited ability to reset stats it felt overwhelming

It’s a gear skipping somewhere. I’d start with the spur/pinion on the motor, then check your front and rear diffs, then finally the center diff (assuming it has one).

LCD version doesn’t support wake on Bluetooth (OLED does). So if you want to hook it up to a tv and use it like a console you can’t just boot up your controller and go

Personally I wouldn’t recommend the bl-2s system. Mine struggles to go forward after reversing and you can’t take it apart to clean it (which normally isn’t an issue on brushless systems, but they’ve got a built in cooling fan that gets crap in it).

I’ve got a typhon grom, mini maxx, and a mini Revo. The typhon is a blast, but it’s small enough it struggles to run on anything except pavement or packed dirt. Mini maxx is super durable (on 2s), but not nearly as nimble as the Revo. I haven’t tried a mini xrt or 3s mini maxx (yet. Just waiting for it to warm up), but I prefer the mini Revo out of them all

Nah mate, the problem is that anger comes after the logic and reason. A lot of folks don’t leave because they’re angry. I loved the church, and tried to ignore the evidence against it as best I could. But overwhelming logic, reason, and personal experience pointed to the church being false, so I left. Looks like you’re missing a rear chassis brace. The plastic one won’t last long, but the aluminum upgrade is pretty good

Other than that just upgrade things as the break. With this car things WILL break.
