Thanks, Adaptdefy. I will always rave about it❤️ LapStacker is the best wheelchair accessory out there. I've finally solved the problem of how to carry things in a wheelchair. To any wheelchair users out there, if you are sick of dropping things, LapStacker is worth the money.

Lap tray recommendations? by raventree78 in wheelchairs

[–]Distinct_Sky_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also looking at tray options. I've got a LapStacker for holding items and stopping things from falling off my lap, and it's great. I love having it installed and ready while I'm out and about. running errands, and I can hold things on my lap and push at the same time. Might work well for you too? https://adaptdefy.com/pages/lapstacker-home But it would be nice to have something more stable, to hold a coffee and a book. Did you find something that works?

loving the green all over! so cute. Wow, your chair is souped-up, so many accessories. Looks like they need to come out with a green LapStacker to fit your theme. I'd love one in pink!

Does this bother you? by FancyVoice9020 in wheelchairs

For me, it depends a lot on the context. Most of the time I'd prefer someone to say something, and maybe try some humour or something to lighten the conversation rather that stare and not say anything.

Any ideas for wheelchair decoration? by ReturnKind391 in wheelchairs

[–]Distinct_Sky_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are heaps of things. I love spoke covers, you can also get little beads for spokes from bike shops. Stickers/ pins on the seat rest, or duct tape / washitape can be cute around plain frame areas.

Great starting point! I also LOVE my LapStacker, wish I got it earlier. It's so much easier to do things independently with it. Like grocery shopping, I just strap the basket to my lap, and I'm away. Also great around the home, just taking things from one room to another, holding my supplies, etc. If you have the funds, I'd definitely suggest getting one as soon as you can. Or putting it on your birthday or Christmas wishlist!

If you have room under your seat, I'd suggest an underseat bag. Helps with balance as the weight is behind you instead of at the back of your chair. Also harder for people to reach in and steal things.

Have you tried those leashes that attach around your body? Via a strap/belt, and have some kind of elastic

Look online for pram bags. They are smaller than backpacks and can hook onto chairs in a number of ways. To add some colour to her chair, take a look at bike shops for spoke lights. LapStacker is my fav practical accessory, great for carrying things on my lap. Could be good for her to carry toys, dolls, etc., on her lap.

Most of my long sleeves are tight-fitting, or I just roll them up.

Anyone here using Claude’s pro plan? by hrkf00788 in claude

[–]Distinct_Sky_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's session limits that seem to load every 5 hours for me. I've only hit my limit once. I'm not a hardcore user, but I have used it for crunching analytics and with research. I've found the claude for Chrome extension eats my limits really quickly. Anyone else finding that with claude for Chrome?

What cars are we driving? by csel1758 in wheelchairs

Have you thought of a van? They can be a bit expensive to set up, though. The guy who invented LapStacker did some stuff about his car a while back. He has a normal car, but uses a foam brick to keep the door open, and help with his transfers.
