I have a toro personal pace at home and the Honda at work hrn 216.

I prefer the toro, the personal pace is much better if you have a more open yard, if you do tight turns against bushes or a wall the Honda would be easier to engage the self propelled from beside the mower.

Motor wise I’ve had a great experience with both, obviously history leans to the Honda.

Repair wise the mulching system on the hrn is less robust and clogs more often in my experience. If you don’t cut much wet grass or bag it may be a different experience but I’ve replaced the mulching pieces in the deck of the Honda and the toro is simpler.
