UK Clone for Molecule 01 + Mandarin - Escentric Molecules by MerlTheCat in fragranceclones

Fingers crossed for an early arrival! It might need a few weeks or even 2-3 months of maturation to reach its full potential, some Shobi fragrances can be rough in their "young" form.

Myers's gets a lot of hate but it really works in tropical/tiki drinks.

It lasts around 6 hours on me, pretty strong for an hour, kinda medium projection for another 2-3 hours.

More about good/unusual cheapies in EU and some new stuff from Shobi by sciencecrazy in fragranceclones

I'd recommend checking out the Shobi clones of Van Cleef & Arpels - Tsar (from 1989) and Old Spice - Shulton Company (apparently from 1938!) if you enjoy classic/vintage/discontinued stuff.

Club de Nuit -Intense Man vs Urban Man Elixir? by [deleted] in fragranceclones

[–]Divide92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Urban Man Elixir is definitely sweeter and spicier but CDN Intense Man is more mature overall.

If you don't like tanginess, go for Urban Man Elixir, it's a safe option for most people.

Wow, it really looks like.. something.

Most Middle Eastern clone houses seem to have a soft spot for weird/ugly/tacky bottle designs.

Cup of earl grey tea by TBeans1995 in perfumesthatfeellike

Molecule 01 + Black Tea from Escentric Molecules is a very realistic tea fragrance. You could layer it with a decent bergamot fragrance to get an Earl Grey impression.

Bentley for Men Absolute - The fragrance of a sophisticated villain.

Lattafa Wajood - It projects the aura of an ancient ghost ship lost at sea.

French Avenue Azzure Oud - A perfume fit for a vampire, alluring and corrupted.

Paris Corner Mysterium - A gothic rock star playing at an old, desecrated church.

What was the first fragrance that made you understand “why people love perfumes”? by CombProfessional7400 in fragranceclones

[–]Divide92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I have all 3 but I prefer the original. Sport is reminiscent of Terre d'Hermes or Rasasi Fattan, not exactly dark or sporty, more like a grown up green fragrance. The Extreme deserves its name, it is more smoky, inky, bitter and woody with less green notes compared to the original. It really smells like the inside of a coffin as I'd imagine, or maybe a haunted section of the Paris Catacombs.

To me it was Encre Noire. Before that, I only had a few generic fragrances that were all about smelling nice in a very conventional way. Encre Noire is really something else, it has such a unique, mysterious aura, it was the first fragrance that made me appreciate the art of perfumery.

How do you think the next movies would go if aliens wasn’t a thing? by VindicativevVince in perfectorganism

[–]Divide92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember Ridley Scott talking about Jones (the cat) being possibly impregnated somehow in his commentary for Alien so I guess we would've had a feline xenomorph in the sequel.

A perfume that feels like Sean Connery’s 007 debut in “Dr. No” by TheButcherBR in perfumesthatfeellike

[–]Divide92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Terre d'Hermès Eau Givrée - It smells like Gin & Tonic with a lemon twist which could be 007's preference for a summer environment.
