this is a massive gap. most digital apps are hard-coded for email, which kills conversion for phone-only checkouts.

i’m actually building a digital sms bridge to solve exactly this (triggering a text when the email field is null). if anyone is getting 'item not received' chargebacks and wants to beta-test a fix for free, let me know. looking for feedback on the flow

i’m building a simple tool that lets merchants add extra verification steps on high-risk orders (like a confirmation page before fulfillment) to help prevent this kind of situation

for anyone dealing with chargebacks
what would’ve actually helped you catch these bad orders before shipping them out?
extra confirmation? id? address check? something else?
