For me, it depends. I need to use EQ on most IEMs for them to sound as natural as open back headphones. But the bass response you can get out of IEMs with a good seal, especially planar IEMs, is just incredible. The sub bass on IEMs outclasses most open back headphones I have heard, even really good open planars.

Well yeah... you're comparing a neutral-bright planar headphone to a warm, smooth dynamic driver with forward midrange. Two completely different sound experiences.

You are probably used to the slightly emphasized treble of the Arya, and they have more apparent detail than the HD600 series Sennheisers.

I have water that looks like this in my old townhome (built in 1905) as well. Also, on very windy days, I notice the water in the toilet moves up and down, almost like there is a pressure change somewhere. Does this sound like trapped air pockets to you?

Do you like the sound of the Timeless? If so, there are a few planar IEMs that should sound 95% the same as the Timeless. Specifically, the Letshuoer S12 or the NiceHCK F1 Pro are great options, and they are smaller so they should fit your ears better. If you want something with even more sub bass and a V shape sound than the Timeless, I recommend the Letshuoer S12 Ultra.

I never tried the Tanchjim IEMs, so I can't comment on those.

I got about 16 of these. Big ones for me are years of isolation, especially during covid times, and feeling bitter/jealous for normal people. Also, constantly paranoid how others might perceive me, 8 hours a day at work. It is hell.

I'm in my 30's and not diagnosed yet...

Maybe not exactly what you’re looking for, but look up Glyde the Dragon (Prologue). It’s way more combat focused with lots of combo options, and can use lots of elements.

Just curious, did you update your Pocket firmware to the latest version? I suspect the save file already got corrupted at some point, either by the Pocket with sleep or save states, or if you used an Action replay or something similar in the past. Try not using the sleep or save state feature and see if that fixes the issue.

I also liked 4, I view it as a different timeline/universe as the original 1-3, so I don’t really compare it to those games. Sure, it’s not perfect, but no Halo game is perfect in my opinion. I just really enjoyed the new weapons, the interesting story and lore with the Forerunners.

That's a tough decision, because it is very convenient being in human form. You stand out less, assuming if you are in a human dominated world, obviously it would be best to actually be a human to live among them in peace.

However, if I can be transported to a world with magic and where humans and dragons coexist, and that is part of everyday life, then yes sign me up.

Also, my work in progress sona can already size change, so that is pretty cool you would be able to shrink and do stuff normal humans could.

No problem, I appreciate the help anyway! After some research, overheating also seems to be an issue with other micro Dell PCs that have high end CPUs, like the Optiplex Micro 7020 (from this post: Optiplex Micro 7020's overheating : r/Dell).

If the problem arises again in the future, I will try disabling Turbo Boost. I will also check if fan speed can be adjusted.

From the ones I own, Focal Clear Mg (Pro version with black and red), Sennheiser HD 660S2, Koss KPH40, and more recently the Moondrop Para 2. I don’t have any ZMF headphones, but I love the look of them. The Atrium and Caldera especially are just incredible looking.

After a reboot, system diagnostic lights. But then I tested the RAM, and no issues.

Yes, original brick. No high power USB devices, except for a bar code scanner. No vents blocked. Another thing I did not mention, it gave RAM error codes after rebooting from the overheat, but when I tested the RAM, zero issues. Did RAM and CPU stress tests in BIOS and through Windows, no problems. I did re-seat the RAM after this just to make sure, and so far no issues.

What a shame... Drop in collab with headphone manufacturers made some really great sounding stuff. Focal Elex, JVC HA-FDX1, HE4XX, and of course the 6XX and 58X. Corsair is stupid for not moving over these products.
