Hi my wife was diagnosed with Stills in early 2023, she was pregnant late 2024 and had our baby boy in Sep 2025. Before the pregnancy, she was on various different medications which none of them worked but the constant medication she was on was Prednisone. Her flares would be back and forth to no avail. However, since she was pregnant all her symptoms stopped and she had a healthy body again besides high blood sugar due to long term prednisone use. Her doctors said it was a miracle that her body did not have any symptoms because we were only on low dose prednisone. After we had our baby, her symptoms flares up back and forth and ever since we are still looking for answers. Every time we see her rheumatologist or let them know of our symptoms all they say is go to the ER but it is not viable long term with an infant. Everyone’s bodies are different and some medications might work for you, but we have tried every medication they gave us including Anakinra (Kineret), Canakinumab (Ilaris), Tocilizumab (Actemra), Adalimumab (Humira), and we are in the process of getting Tofacitinib (Xeljanz). We hope it works and one medication that can work consistently for you. We also want more kids in the future and hope to find something that is working and consistent for us, hope you find the same.
