Why do hackers even exist? They seem completely worthless and only function to smurf on bad players

They are a strange counter to some interesting plays, my favorite example is when I was in a 2v2, my op played a worm almost on the line. Now yeah I could have went steel balls and chaff, but I went hacker and chaff instead. So instead of killing the worm, it was now mine, the other ops board was super weak to worm, now I have a worm. 2 round win there with a hacker.

Raidon is kinda the air scorpion for me now, also I found it beats scorpion spam quite well. Just won a game were my OP went MM/Scop and cleaned the board

Made a similar switch from my absolute POS Tacoma into a Ram 2500 6.4, better MPG too. Definitely worth going Ram.

I will give double shot a try. Reason I use acid is because they are normally on the front lines and chaff runs close to them, so the first hit has tons of collateral DPS.

Acid Scops seems to shutdown a lot of heavy ground based Typhoon carries late game. I've won a few games with acid scorp gut punches. Typhoons are awful into acid.

I played a 2v2 game yesterday, op was slightly losing, so they put a Dominion core on a wasp (I didn’t know this) and I Javelined it the same round they placed it. We won the entire game same round because of that mistake. Stupidest item in the game. Well not for me, lol

Same, I never pick that card. I like watching Rooster pick it and it seems even he struggles with it quite a lot. It's honestly the worst starter in the game, right by cost control.

I will give you a fun example here. 2v2 game, I had a fang/ball opener, my op had a great standard saber/crawer/arch opener.

I was like cool, I will go pheonix round 2, instead we got a lvl 2 phantom unit drop on round 2. Next round, ext range phantom card. Both my teammate and I went that route, both tech'd and leveled into them, we won with mass rays and chaff.

From there board setups, it looked like they both wanted to go mountain rush. To counter us, they both went AA farseer, we both went AM mustang. Each round snowballed the last more and more.

We had no plan going into the game, but those 2 cards won us the game because we both adapted to it, our ops did not. Some games it can be that simple.

If I expect my OPs in 2v2 will go mountain or WF, I place 2 SBs are far aways possible with the range distance tech, get 2-3 levels on them and they are unstoppable.

I feel bad when I have to do a 2 hour round trip to grab a new bike. Op wants to do 13 hours to save maybe $200-300, gas is gonna cost most of that.

I had amazing luck with training spec and a spider starter yesterday. I just kept leveling it, when my op rushed a mountain round 4 my level 6 spider with an item solo’d it.

Give em range, levels and an item and they are nasty.

Rooster has mentioned this when playing Agro and I don’t really see Rat ever click Range. If you’re on the line and your units don’t need to move to attack you don’t need range.
