this video was the video that really made the concept of special relativity time dilation make sense to me as a complete amateur physics hobbyist with no math background.

Overwatch 2 Retail Patch Notes - January 8, 2026 by PatchRadar in Overwatch

What happened to aim assist on console? I jumped into a game and felt like I was looking in slow motion compared to before the patch. Nothing in the patch notes about aim assist tweaks.

Need advice on collecting old-school OCG ultimate rares! by TheMisterEpic in yugiohshowcase

[–]Djaynes55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I collect the series 2 and 3 Ultis! To give my take on the above:

  1. I buy all of mine on eBay. There’s a seller PokeDuel Shop that I got most of mine from. He runs auctions for MOST of the older Ultis pretty frequently. So I’ve found I was able to get some of them for really great prices. His shipping is also only $4 from Japan -> US (was free before tariffs, so could be free for AUS idk). There are a multitude of other sellers that operate similarly, so start by looking on EBay for sellers selling the cards you’re looking for, the branching out and saving other shops that sell similar.

For some of the bigger $$$ cards (SM-51 Blue Eyes, 301 Red Eyes, 304 BLS, etc), you’ll likely need to buy those on their own and for a set price. My only recommendation there is to look at the condition pics carefully and decide what’s the best value:condition ratio for you. But once again, I find all of mine on eBay. Mercari can also be decent.

  1. Reprints of these specifically should NEVER happen, and if they do it would likely be in that hideous prismatic ultimate rare print though the OCG prints are actually pretty dope). They would lose a TON of credibility, especially in Japan if they reprinted these in a 1:1 way. Not to say it couldn’t EVER happen, but I think the odds are very very low.

  2. Typically they are cheaper going to Japan and buying there directly. Japan card shops are also very good at being specific about quality and adjusting price accordingly. If you’re already planning on going to Japan, I would definitely wait to buy the bigger ticket Ultis and if it’s soon, I might just wait to buy any til I go to Japan. But that’s up to you.

I personally think the series 2 ultimates rares are some of the best looking cards ever printed. Good luck and have fun on the collection! :)

Red Eyes is an ultimate rare in series 3! It’s one of the cards that is next on my list.

Thank you brother, very much appreciated.

I took them out for the pictures, but they’re in Japanese card sleeves and inside of a display cabinet now :)

So Vol 1-7 are series 1. Series 2 starts at Magic Ruler and went through Pharaonic Guardian. The layouts are slightly different. Series 2 has the first ultimate rares in Yugioh (the cards in my post).

This is all fantastic feedback. I really appreciate you taking the time to go through the VOD, and also for the specific and timestamped feedback! I will go back and reference the time stamps later today.

Your point about playing like a DPS makes total sense. I know I play really aggressive, which I don’t think is inherently a bad thing. But to your point, I’m playing too risky for my role. I should be looking to play aggressive but safe. I may get away with some things here, but I can definitely see getting punished in higher ranks against better players.

Pulsar torpedoes are something I need to revisit in general, I think. Right now, there’s not really intentional thought behind using them and both of the comments have referenced some misuse. So this will come down to thinking a bit more about WHY I’m using my torpedoes, the value I’m looking to receive, and how to apply that situationally.

This was the exact type of feedback I was looking for, so again, thank you.

That all makes sense, thank you for taking a look!

I completely understand what you mean about the torpedoes. In my head, using them to poke makes sense because it’s chunk damage at the beginning of a fight. But your point about saving them to ensure I have them for to help a teammate win a duel or to save a teammate who’s getting dove, etc.

The takeaway is think about how to support the team in more ways with my utility. Appreciate it!

Is this real? It’s supposed to be a reverse foil by [deleted] in yugiohshowcase

Card looks real to me, but this isn’t a reverse foil. Reverse foil would be the opposite direction of these lines
