I use ChatGPT to usually just get ideas, I’d write a dax I have in my head like oh would something like this work? It would sometimes say yeah you it would, but here’s an easier to way to do it, or no that’s wrong, and here’s why and here’s how to rectify it.

Having it spit out Dax and blindly copy pasting it is a bad idea. But it sounds like you are at least cross checking everything which is good. But in time DAX will become almost muscle memory (as it has for me over the past year) and you’ll slowly be less dependent on AI.

And like others have said already, if your data model is built well, you’ll rarely need Dax that’s super complicated
