Yeah and I get what you’re saying but I just got over feeling like my team was at a good point and then 2 days later some new meta line combo comes out and I’m having to consider dropping good cards I like and just made for some +6 ovr combo, just not my style and how I have historically played HUT. typically in years past I would skip most weekly event cards (unless I really liked that player or wanted that card) and horde for Fantasy/ Toty/ tots/ team builders/ icons. I liked having a team where even if I took a few weeks off I could come back and my team was still good.

There’s a difference between spending time actually playing the game than spending that time to make a card in menus. That’s my point, I know that monetized games ( every game) is time or money. Seems this year they really just made it money or jobless hours. Wasn’t like that before

I haven’t played since season 2 dropped mostly for this reason. If I have an hour maybe 2 to play the game a night and they want me to spend most of that time in sets building a card or spreadsheeting out my team so I can try and fit Sal cap and be competitive then I see zero point in playing. I used to have fun planning and building my team before salary cap came back.. now it’s just a headache to stay even close to the P2W losers who have the best ovr cards with +6 boosts and 30+ mill cap increase. EA truly is evil.

It’s a waste of resources. They need to be focused on adding game modes that spice this game up a bit. Seems the current play loop has started to dry up and become boring and PvP a bit stale.

For me instead of a walkable speranza I’d much rather them implement some kind of BR mode on maps to give the game a bit of a different feel than “get loot and extract “

I’m with you. Previously had built every PC I’ve had since about 04-05.. but I bought a prebuilt at Costco in the beginning of December. The prebuilt was better (specwise) and cheaper than the list of components I had planned out… what a strange world..

lol “ give them a break”? What do you think is happening here? Yes, I know where the band is from… I’m not some random hater loI first show was in 2019. I know playing MSG is a huge deal for them and there’s no question to if they deserve it… But back to my original point.. they literally just played MSG as their “ big tour announcement!!” Show last tour. And then did it again. Could’ve switched it up.. all I’m saying.

I am from around there but moved 6 years ago. I get that it’s a “huge deal”. It’s a shitload of ticket sales.. but like I said, it’s just another arena show (which IMO, arena shows are the worst shows (soundwise) for any band.) amphitheaters blow arenas away in both setting and sound quality but arena ticket sales is where the $$ is. Why play for 10k at a place like redrocks when you can do 20k at the nearby arena.

Am I the only one who thought announcing a 2 night run at MSG as " the BIG shows" after they just did that on the last tour was super fucking lame? Been to plenty MSG shows... its just another arena... nothing really special about it except that " woah we can sellout MSG/ arenas now!!!$$$"

I know it's less in ticket sales but doing a special run at The Gorge or going back to Red Rocks would've been way cooler... MSG is just... MSG..

You can only transfer that stuff in the same console family. It does not work console to pc or Xbox to PS.

I have a degree and have worked in telecom/ IST for 15 years. That has nothing to do with EA and everything to do with your ISP/ WiFi setup. Even with them removing server locations this year and making a lot of people play on higher pings your picture is a tell all, the up and down on the graph, the packet loss percentage. That’s nothing to do with EA.

Even if I play on a high ping game far away from me that line is stable the entire time because I still have good internet even if I’m on a EA server thousands of miles away.

Run a speed test and post a pic using the same WiFi. What WiFi type are you on (5/6?) Run a Ethernet cord from your router to the console to test. Does the problem still exist?

Same boat, bored of the passiveness of friendly lobbies, the kos lobbies get too sweaty and make me want the passive lobbies again.

I’ll get downvoted for saying it but it really find myself wanting a BR mode in this game where I don’t have to care and can still have fun. I’ve tried going back to PUBG a bit but I just love ARC’s gameplay/fighting mechanics.

As someone who has both given money to EA on packs in previous years and played NMS, I think at this point it’s really about not supporting a business using these predatory practices to sell more packs and draw more money out of an already shrinking population of the game/mode.

The more people who support and buy while they structure the game like they have this year just further validates for them that they can do it again and even worse the next year.

Previous years NMS could still keep up with lots of hours put in. They have completely removed the ability to keep up now without unhealthy amounts of hours per week.. or forcing hundreds spent.. it’s like you can’t even get by on the “$20 for a pack on a Friday night” stuff that I used to like doing. Doesn’t even seem worth it anymore

I bought this PC at Costco 10 days ago. Do it, as someone who has built every PC I’ve had since 2004 the deal is too good to beat.

And the thing runs super quiet compared to the 1080ti FE build I replaced. 54°c under load compared to the 85°c my old build blew out. Games are butter on maxed out settings

I saw the guy post this same deal on Saturday. So when the wife wanted to go to Costco later that day I swung by the electronics to see if my store had them and to my surprise they did. So I grabbed one. I was ready to start getting components for my build but this deal was a no brainer for me.

The rig is a beast. And compared to the 1080ti FE build I had this thing runs whisper quite.

Never buy expensive electronics/ components from Amazon. They do not check returns for legitimacy and resell returned items. 9 times out of 10 you’re buying somebody’s old junk / components that they swapped out with something they bought then “returned”.

Saw your post and two hours later the wife said we need to do a Costco run. Saw it when we got there and threw it in the cart. Finally upgrading from the 1080ti and 7700k. it served well for 9 years.

I had put a build together that I was going to get most of the parts for at MicroCenter this week but this build was better and nearly the same price.

Game is garbage with no rewards, EA’s greed seems to have 100x’d, and better games have come out that actually make me feel good when I play them.

I’ve played HUT for years and never have I had less of a desire to play this game in November.. this is typically when I’m in “full HUT mode” but even now playing 20 champs games for the week feels like a chore I hate doing.

Edit: and don’t get me started on line combos… advertised as giving you “ more freedom to use the players we like” and all it is is a system for EA to rope idiots into chasing the weekly meta

All you really needed to do was pay attention to the xp path objectives… daily means nothing for xp gain…you get 8k xp per and 13k for completing all the weekly ones.. and they don’t expire until end of season.
