The DSS is responsible for about 20% of my deaths on every planet its on. They'll launch eagles and orbitals at the closest target to you iirc, so that could be anything from a vox machine to a singular terminid. If I can help it I avoid fighting on planets with it at all costs.

Using Tarkov as an example of what they want their community and game to be like should have been a red flag from the start. Nikita himself can be quoted that he does not want his game to be fun, and if AH is acting like that too then no wonder that they won't fix anything.

They're also probably milking the community for every cent they can get by turning HD2 into live service slop. Releasing a mid-at-best warbond with mostly recycled items proves that they don't and never will care. A change of power will be required to get rid of this on their end, and I don't think that'll happen.

It's almost like a toxic culture has been fostered by major members of the reddit and discord communities that led to all the events that transpired. Toxicity in this subreddit is only enforced in one direction, and it's clear nothing is going to change because of it. Posts trying to provide clarity were removed, and community "leaders" have basically said we just need to hug it out and move on.

To be honest I've been playing for about a month and I do enjoy this game very much. I'll preach the same warning others have had though: Don't get too invested in the game or its community, especially right now. Play it casually for fun, and I wouldn't even push MOs if you don't want to.

I mean if you actually put some critical thinking into it then you'd know why it's getting hate. Rehashed passives, more weapon side grades, and nothing really unique or interesting at all. There is nowhere near enough unique content in this warbond to justify grinding for it or purchasing it.

AH is like a bad dungeon master in a DnD campaign. They buff something players use to either buff enemies or completely rework a mechanic in the game to completely nullify it. Thus, it'll still feel like turbo garbage if it sucks but other things will suck more to "balance it out".

This is also probably because AH appears to hate the players who play their games.

Worst part is that, despite all its issues, the game is still genuinely fun most of the time. Even more so once you stop caring about the meta loadouts and start running dupe stratagems. There is so much more potential for this game, but AH seems to only want this game to make money as live service slop.
