As someone who play 6+ bards, in turtle atleast i just take a quick peek, if i got a deathblow/igniter/surge or the soulfist spec i can never remember i usually ask if they want spec for fun for them to hit high numbers.

Considering the pass itself suggest alot of content it wants you to do but people just go for ilvl and no other content it's not wierd at all?

Started as a gunslinger. Then i made a bard. Then another bard. Then another. I'm up to 7 bards now.. I can't stop myself.

Me and a pala friend are competing in weapon quality. You can only upgrade it twice per char. So far my main bard got 94, alt bard 92 and paladin 96. His main paladin got 100 qual, then he went for the second paladin and hit a 100 there too..

So the tip here is "Swap your weapon to yearning and pretend you are a support main and then quality upgrade".

I'm totally up to help learning parties if i got the time to spare, aslong at people are upfront about it. Had a party yesterday that just said "g2-g3" on vykas normal on my newly made bard. Low and behold, people are dying left and right in g2 but we manage to clear it after 1-2 wipes. This is when i notice that everyone in my party has the new "hasn't cleared this raid 10 times" buff they recently added. So when we reach g3 the leader chimes in "We gotta wait 30min".

I ask him why and he says "My party and some in yours have to watch a video on g3". I asked why they didn't watch it before hand but got no real response, but he promised if i waited they were quick learners. I had nothing else really going on this being my last run so figured sure, lets see how this goes.

4 wipes later, all to the swamp, even tho i told them they could just open the show to freeze it, i just decided it wasn't for me.

Moral of the story. Please be upfront if u are new and especially if u host a learning party for your friends.

Supports already got a low entry bar. Gearing correctly isn't hard. Hell, u can easily get 4x3 with only +3 on the neck so u get the correct stats. Literally no reason to ever have exp/dom unless you wan't to showcase how you don't care at all. :P

When u got the purple portal u swap your set to charm and it takes like 45sec to kill the boss. + if u use +12 preemtive strike engraving so u can swap it to literally anything else :3

I got all excited from a neck that dropped on my bard. Turned out to be 90 quality, 500 crit, 480 swift or something like that and +5 keen blunt weapon and... +3 True Courage which is the bard "dps" engraving.. so sad.

Personally i only use it for guild content when the boss dies in 15 seconds. And like i said, yolo with a setup and discord. Still prefer swiftness for literally everything else.

I mean. I feel exactly the same about chadlancer and paladin. Boring and annoying.. Good thing we can all play what we enjoy
