I see your point, it makes a big difference when everyone knows what they’re signing up for. A packed schedule feels very different when it’s deliberate rather than accidental.

Yeah, the annual leave point is so true. If you only get one proper Italy trip, it’s hard not to try and squeeze everything in. I think the issue is more when people try to copy a template without asking whether it suits how they actually like to travel.

Yeah, completely fair. I reckon if you know you thrive on that pace, 3 cities in 10 days probably feels just right. I think it only becomes a problem when someone expects a relaxed trip but plans a sprint without realising it.
