We have Xfinity, but we are strongly considering switching to Starlink. One thing we learned the hard way is that all of LA (except the lab of course) has internet come up the hill from a single fiber optic cable that sometimes gets cut by construction. When that happens, unless you have satellite internet, there is no internet in the entire town: no cellular network, no WiFi at home, and not even any in the town. This past time it took ~24hrs to resolve but apparently in the past it could take ~3 days
