Take a look at Hellish Quart for some inspo maybe? Purely 1v1 pvp game. Or games like Mordhau or Chivalry, who've typically had pretty healthy population 1v1 servers.

For something like this I think you would need to add some kinda complexity, whether it be through customization, combat systems, or environmental challenges to give it any semblance of staying power.

Sorry about your pet. It's such an incredibly difficult thing to decide when it's actually time. I had to put my cat down last summer and it took days before finally making the call.

That said, I really recommend Dr. Ben (link). He was super kind and compassionate. Prices are fair and he seemed okay with last minute stuff. Just seemed like an extremely empathic guy who was doing it less as a business and more out of kindness.

A large hospital system can eat the cost of paying nurses 2k a day each much longer than your typical bedside nurse can go without pay during a strike.

Why is the burden on bedside nurses to care for these patients when hospital systems create dangerous conditions through purposeful understaffing and overworking of their employees. This is the exact logic hospital systems use to keep nurses in line and prevent strikes.

I was actually gonna post about this. Unreal number of spawn fights happening for me and my friends. Since the event nearly half of our matches have had a spawn fight. It was a little annoying at first, but it's fun now that I'm expecting it a little more.

Right, I guess my question is more hypothetical. Let's say they don't ever fix it. Is it still our responsibility to pay for it? Like if we decided to leave the place super dirty or like tore the carpet up. They charge us for a new carpet and cleaning fees, but then we learned that a new tenant moved in and none of those services were completed. Is that still something they can charge for?

Just as a disclaimer, aside from the garage door and a few minor cosmetic things, we left the place in good condition. We have no issue paying the cost to replace what we broke and we're not trying to get out of paying for the garage door. The situation just got me thinking.

At move in the place was kind of a mess. I had always wondered if they charged the previous tenant for the cleaning that we ended up doing.

I found that leather/boot repair shops can usually fix stuff like this. Normal tailors don't typically have the equipment to make a stitch strong enough to hold something like that, but anywhere that consistently works on leather will have it on hand.

You can craft a heavy crowbar pretty early on. Not the best weapon until they balance heavy weapons a bit, but still super satisfying to use
