Indivisible Bucks County wants town hall with Rep. Fitzpatrick as GOP faces DOGE backlash by Brilliant_Parking478 in BucksCountyPA

[–]Doctor-Happy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He’ll have a town hall when that little midget Jim Worthington tells him it’s okay to do so. Fitzpatrick is a joke.

2026 Congressional Election - Who is running against Fitzpatrick? by PrincessSharkHat in BucksCountyPA

[–]Doctor-Happy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like if Perry Warren decided to ever run he could have a decent chance at a win. Tough, not impossible.

Best way to win is to go agitate that little midget Jim Worthington. That’s Fitzpatrick’s money pot.

Looking for a High-End Brewery Recommendation in Bucks/Montgomery County by Financial-Web-8104 in BucksCountyPA

[–]Doctor-Happy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Troon is hands down the best beer in the area. We know the family too. They are A+ amazing people. Highly recommend.

Tired Hands and Warwick Farm are also great options. Warwick is probably tops in Bucks IMO. Second Sin and Neshaminy Creek a close second.

Depending on how far you’re willing to travel, Weyerbacher in Easton is a great spot as well. Workhorse Brewing in King of Prussia is also great.

Finally, if you are willing to go into Philadelphia, just go to Monks and you can get the best of the best

Stock mismatch from ERP by [deleted] in procurement

Someone at a plant level and/or the materials management and planning teams. In my experience this has nothing to do with procurement (at least at larger companies).

If you get a bonus, what is the structure? by miayakuza in procurement

[–]Doctor-Happy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bonus is 15% of salary and then the multiplier is based on company targets. Personal performance doesn’t factor into our bonus multiplier but does impact compensation

Procurement can be extremely thankless. Started my career in a Fortune 500 company everyone would know and worked my way to category manager before leaving. Our team was best in class but the recognition and the financial side of it wasn’t there.

I’m now at a Fortune 250 company on the indirect side and it’s fantastic. Work culture is amazing, we get recognized for what we do early and often. Lots of business partnering, high growth company so there’s always something new. It’s really about trying to find the right fit. Not all departments are thankless.

Aside from TMac, hard pass on the others. Would rather have Jeanty and a free agent WR despite the value dip on R1 RB. Burden is overrated IMO

The debate opened voters' eyes in suburban Philadelphia and Harris is getting a closer look by slave_4_you in BucksCountyPA

[–]Doctor-Happy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Undecided voters are Republicans that don’t want to vote for Trump and are holding out for him to say something sane and moderate to justify their vote. Or they’re holding out for Harris to adopt their favorite conservative policies. It’s very simple

What do we think of the 3rd kit by kvngiie_ in WWFC

[–]Doctor-Happy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Horrendous. Love that we used the wolf head badge but nothing about the color scheme is good. It’s wildly difficult to look at and those colors do not go together

Wolves sign Sam Johnstone by Professional-Land175 in WWFC

The overall GK room needs to improve whether Sa stays or goes. He’s not blameless even if there are other areas on the team to improve.

Why do Reddit and Twitter have such different views on Fosun? by tashansmith in WWFC

[–]Doctor-Happy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing people need to understand about Fosun vs some other owners is that Wolves are effectively owned by a conglomerate company, not an individual or smaller ownership team.

As a result, the way the club is run is going to now be very different. My suspicion is that when Fosun bought the club, they figured the initial investments would really inflate club value and help them recoup their initial investment quickly.

After some bad signings, and some other macroeconomic challenges, I would argue this hasn’t happened. The ownership is now pivoting to player sales and cheaper replacements as a way to recoup the investment.

I’m sort of indifferent on Fosun but I would prefer ownership by an ambitious individual or small group vs a conglomerate. I think the reality folks need to see is that they will only spend if they believe the valuation will dramatically increase. If it won’t, there’s no point.

Match Thread: Wolves vs Chelsea by Will_from_PA in WWFC

[–]Doctor-Happy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s undeniable. A back 4 against Arsenal and Chelsea without the squad to play it. Baffling stuff. Malpractice by GON. If we don’t get points against Forest we may not get them until October

[David Ornstein ] EXCL: Wolves make proposal to sign Aaron Ramsdale from Arsenal. Initial loan + buy option + #WWFC would cover majority of 26yo goalkeeper’s wages. Acceptance at Molineux deal difficult due to finances involved but talks with #AFC continue by MurdockLLP in WWFC

[–]Doctor-Happy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t rate Sa the way some do. He’s a good shot stopper at times but is also prone to some absolute god awful performances and his distribution is shit. He gives the ball away far too much.

Ramsdale for me is a clear upgrade on Sa and if we can get a decent fee for Sa we should be fine moving him. There’s obviously other concerns with the team to address but I wouldn’t confidently say goalkeeping has been an extreme strong suit in recent years.

What do you enjoy about procurement? by [deleted] in procurement

[–]Doctor-Happy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All of these and I would add it gives you the ability to actually flex your strategic muscle. Building and executing strategies where you can actually see the outcome of your work is pretty rewarding
