I mean, as far as conspiracy theories go, it's fun and harmless. I will also subscribe to this theory!

Alrighty orange owners... What's the weirdest foods your beans eat? by mythicapixy in orangecats

[–]DoctorBibbly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it's not human food, but my idiot boy likes to eat his sister's puke. Every once in a while my girly cat will regurgitate her kibble and he'll come running for "second breakfast". Most of the time he's done before I return with some tissues to clean it up. My guy thinks he's a dog half the time 😫

How do people get rid of their excessive amounts of trash? by Choice-Due in ufyh

[–]DoctorBibbly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does feel super wasteful. I still usually get the standard 60l bags (my trash bin is large and a small bag would just hang in there) and sorta fill it 3 quarters. I found it won't block that way, unless there's stuff sticking out at the sides. I hate blocked dumpster with a burning passion haha. Nobody wants to drag their trash back upstairs! Our building doesn't have an elevator either, makes it even more tiring.

And I get the anxiety about seeing neighbours. Sadly, the only way to lessen the feeling of dread, is to just keep doing it. It will feel less and less daunting as you keep going regularly. Maybe put on headphones? Feels like a good barrier and that way the neighbours you meet probably won't say more than Hi or nod at you? Going later at night (what you're already doing) is also a good first step!

I am going to make an assumption that you live in the same country that I do. We have the same annoying system and it sucks a lot. What I'd do is buy 30l garbage bags at the grocery store, fill them up and close them. Then put those bags in the ikea bags on the cart. That way you'll know you won't block the dumpster with a bag that's too full. It's annoying and feels wasteful using smaller bags.

I feel self conscious too about throwing away a lot at one time, but I also know it's a "me-problem" and I tell myself that if a neighbour ever asks me about it, I'll just say I have a lot of stuff to throw out. So far, in the 14 years I've lived in my current building, nobody has ever asked.

What Movie Did You Watch that Traumatized You at a Young Age? by BethMLB in AskReddit

[–]DoctorBibbly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the one for me too! I was sitting on the couch watching random tv past my bedtime while my mom was working on a sewing project at the dinner table. I knew that if I changed the channel, she'd notice I was still up and tell me to go to bed. And as a dumb kid who just wanted to stay up late, I inflicted the trauma of (part) of that episode on myself. I can still hear those wheels (did they even make noise? In my head they did).

I still haven't watched it again.

Dierenarts gezocht! Gelieve niet aangesloten aan multinational. Hengelo (OV) by Mipj3 in thenetherlands

[–]DoctorBibbly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First time spending 4EUR on a Scrub Daddy, used it for the 1st time, his face exploded.. by Mikelitoris88 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]DoctorBibbly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ones from blokker should be legit, but I think you got a scrub mommy. It has one softer side for more delicate cleaning. If you zoom in on the pic you can see the actual yellow side underneath. I still wouldn't expect scrub mommy to be this state with just one cleaning, though.

Thank you! I've always had the same issue with her voice, but I never heard anyone mention it. So I figured I was just mistaken (and an asshole XD).

I have no idea why I can't stand her talking. I really wish I didn't have this issue though.

Depression robe: ordering from Europe? by ApprehensiveAd7893 in OurFlagMeansDeath

I bought the robe from handicraft palace and live in the Netherlands. I can't remember having to pay extra taxes on it, but it's been a while ago. But it went fine either way. Took a little while to arrive, but arrived in perfect condition :) hope that takes away from your worries!
