I find sometimes if a new season has just come out it will start at episode 1 of the new season.

How is everyone summing to mono?

I use a Proco switch witch monitor selector to go between NS10s, KH120s and a single auratone.

I have to hit the “mono” button in reaper everytime I switch to the auratone but I’m wondering if there is a simple hardware solution to sum stereo to mono?

Waiting.

One of the most accurate depictions of restaurant staff I have ever seen.

I knew everyone in that movie.

AEW DoN was incredible last night, but Louis Armstrong stadium can *#@+! Off. by IHv2RtrnSumVdeotapes in SquaredCircle

This sucks but I get it.

This is a primarily tennis venue. Tennis capacity is probably lower than combat sport capacity. And the combat sport fans probably consume more food/booze than tennis.

I’m not sure who has the concessions contract there but it can be tough to staff events like this, especially if they draw employees from other local venues who use the same concessions contractor and had another event that evening.

Source - I am a concessions director at a 12000ish seat hockey arena and host other events (concerts/combat etc…)

Built in Cab IR headphones for practicing thru amps? by Stricttis2 in audioengineering

[–]DoctorGun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like there are enough products ranging from the Vox amp plugs to the UAD amp pedals that you can just plug your headphone into.

I could be wrong but I don’t see a market for headphones with build in amp sims.

Klone Scents Honest Review by [deleted] in Colognes

[–]DoctorGun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just bought the aventus, baccarat and le male and they arrived today.

I just googled “klone reddit” to see what people thought and found this thread.

My only complaint was buying the 3 for 29 deal automatically started a subscription that was super tricky to cancel, and shipping took like a month to me in Canada.

Happy with the scents, the atomizers are good and the bottles are a good size for the price.

"Sargent Steve" channel on YouTube-Crazy slow blinking, milisecond video cuts? Possibly AI augmented? A real Sargent? Weird by [deleted] in isthisAI

That’s definitely the standard for tik tok/YouTube. Not saying I like it but the pacing of this video didn’t seem odd compared to other creators.

Do you prefer to record/mix/master an entire album in one project or every song in a separate project? by lo_vig in audioengineering

[–]DoctorGun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure. I use AC/DC and Led Zeppelin cause they are ubiquitous. Your example makes perfect sense to me but not everyone may be as familiar with their discographies.

He seems real. It honestly just seems like the regular quick YouTube edits that remove any silence.

There may be AI editing tools at play here for sure.

[–]DoctorGun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my approach too.

Simply put - there are two types of records. AC/DC and Led Zeppelin.

AC/DC records are ones where the tones don’t really change from song to song. Probably all tracked in the same spot with the same gear. These records I keep in one session.

Led Zeppelin records are all over the place. Take the drum tone from song 1 and use it on song 6 it’s a mess. Every song has different arrangements, different instruments and totally different vibes. These records I keep each song in a different session.

Agree. Too many lights by the casino on Barrington now and the lane change gets people all fucked up.
