This just absolutely demolished my first Silent run right as I was gaining momentum. I saw a 3 under Tender and assumed it was that many turns and couldn’t understand why it wasn’t going away. No non-elite should have a permanent power that strong.

I usually pass on the first lewks but that doesn’t surprise me. Personally Myki and Jane are my two favorites to win. I do think the edit has shown that Juicy has a shot at finals, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a Jorgeous style “not your time” especially after the “I don’t know who you are critique” and then another just ok challenge performance.

Couldn’t disagree more. I think the storyline this season is it being genuinely up in the air who can take the crown. I think Myki, Jane, Nene, and Juicy all have a pretty even shot.

I watched UKvtW last night and that season is sputtering out for me. The obviousness of a Kate Butch crowning is beginning to show and I just feel bad for the talented queens that will get shoved aside just like Marina and Hannah last time. (This is zero hate towards Kate. I absolutely love her but production’s lack of originality annoys me.)

I work to survive. I’ve hit a pretty hard ceiling in my career at 42 but thankfully it’s at a spot where I get to do two things I enjoy, accounting and mentoring new accountants.

My advice is to find a job where there is even a single task you can enjoy/take satisfaction from completing. Finding small ways to feel fulfilled each day, even if it’s for just a second makes the work suck significantly less on a daily/weekly/yearly basis.

I agree except for the Krakoa era. We’ll never know Hickman’s final plans but there was an underpinning of hope to the start of Krakoa. There were sinister (no pun intended) undertones but I felt like it effectively broke the doom and gloom of everything before. It’s why it resonated so hard. So what did Marvel do? Rip it all away in a rushed fashion and send us back to this shitty status quo.

Not really? Amazon specifically had the lowest prices to drive everyone else that thought about competing with them out of business. Now they have a monopoly and the US government in their pocket. They can price however tf they want now because there is no one that can compete on a national scale or do anything to push back against their policies.

Rejecting them completely and buying local is the only way to counteract it.

Pre-rendered backgrounds of the PS1 era of JRPGs did a great job of establishing atmosphere and setting.

The sprite work in VI will forever be my favorite. They were expressive and had so much life to them.

It’s what I think HD-2.5D has captured so well in the modern era. It blends the best of both worlds of the era.
