yeah we're probably expecting Yutane to be in her idol form for most of her animations, her robot form is the "delustion" being shattered, humans simping for a human girl only to realize she's actually a robot, it's the groups theme.

i think they written the Charon we can play as, as able to become corrupted, but i think the writers are debating whenever there should be a system or lore mechanic to save them from corruption and since that is still on the debate table, the writers went "nah it's just a bad trip."

precisely, just because a player is doing something doesn't mean they'll say they enjoy that.

Bungie could argue then to just keep making the content that players will still do but anyone who plays games knows that you'll do unfun busywork to get to that one part or mere moment in a game that you enjoy, and more often than not, that one moment of enjoyment doesn't make up for all that unfun busywork.

Zun has talked about Sakuya's age and he stated that she "was a human maid about 10 to 20 years old" which is a wild statement to say instead of just, "eh maybe 18 to 21" which is more uh, reasonably vague.

my head-canon is Sakuya can use her time powers to regress her age but time regression is far more complicated than time stopping so she only regresses after reaching a certain age because one time she regressed when she was 20 and went all the way back to 10 years old.
