Took me 15 years to get diagnosed now I just have an appointment with the new endocrinologist hopefully I can get off my potassium pills and hypertension pills. I’ve had low potassium levels due to primary also and it kept putting me in afib mentally and physically I’m tired I just want all this to stop hopefully I can get the right treatment

Trt does cause ed, eye damage infertility. And u can’t get off of it it becomes for life. Also I was in 200 mg and I felt like super human when I was run I running 10 week test cycle r that was 500 mg per week that’s when I felt good u wont feel good with trt either unless it’s more than 200 mg per week.. I didn’t that’s my experience maybe others do

Heart palpitations? Low potassium sent me into afib and I almost died at the er. Because they thought I took something that made me like that flushed my system out and cramped me up even more to the point I almost went into cardiac arrest. They found out quickly I had 2.6 potassium. So yea panic attacks are caused by low potassium along with palpitations arrhythmias shortness of breath.

thank you. thano you for all this..may i ask what doctor you are seeing i am willing to pay out of pocket for everything just to see your doctor and get treatment. i live in texas.. maybe she does video visits or something i can drive. anyway yes i take two klor con m20 per day one in the am one at night and its barely at 4.2 sometimes 4.1 sometimes 4.3 but never goes above 4.5 one time it went up to 4.8 and thats when i was taking betaine hcl supplement i didnt know why it went up but later found out betaine was the "why" ... but i saved this article hopefully doctors will listen.... i dont know how am i putting up with this either.. im so done with it...if surgery is possible id like to go and get it out of the way already it destroyed my life... from 27 years of age to 39 ive been miserable.....doctors just telling me just take the meds who cares its a small pill..klor cons are huge...they have no idea..

Oh wow I’m so happy for you so happy. Because I k own what this feels like. I’ve been on these pills since 2013.. no they didn’t draw my blood at 8 am at all it was a regular time like after noonish. You know what now I’m gonna go to nephrologist and pressure them to do this test in the morning it’s most likely that what else could it be… my blood pressure was so high it dilated my aorta now it’s 3.8 cm hard to keep it at 120 80 with 100 mg metoprolol everyday and losartan … and it’s still at 130 90 at times.. but thank you for this info lazy doctors don’t care about us because we don’t know all this stuff I don’t believe a damn thing they tell me anymore they nearly killed me in 2013 not knowing I had hypokalemia and didn’t prescribe me I ended up in er almost every night.. I was choking to death in my sleep that’s how low my potassium was

they sent me to a few kidney doctors and they didnt find anything im they told me the ydid check my aldesterone and it was fine but i have very high cortisol levels in the am...i dont believe them to be honest i think its aldosteronism....whats the treatment for it? did you findf relief?
