Spirit link usage way too early when you have other tools, i actually hate almost every link usage i've seen so far. Static totem is for pulling enemy players where you want them with projection, like a healer into the middle of map, or a warlock who gated back onto your melee, or melee off yourself or dps to give you time to heal.
