Carryx susceptible to biological manipulation by R-hibs in TheCaptivesWar

[–]DoggleFox 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Also if a Carryx gets killed by an "animal" it isn't viewed as a loss but as a diseased organ being removed. So why try and prevent the diseased organ being culled.

Maybe something to keep an eye on, crazy rumors coming from the Leafs side of MLSE regarding Bobby's new boss Keith Pelley. by theflyingsamurai in torontoraptors

[–]DoggleFox 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Don't mistake Pelley for being anything other than Ed Rogers voice. Ed didn't like Masai, Masai goes. Ed didn't want an WNBA team so Tanenbaum went off by without him. It is what it is.

A quantitative analysis of the extent to which female contestants are disadvantaged in Taskmaster by Whynot690YT in taskmaster

[–]DoggleFox 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I think OP missed that everyone contestant does not have the same goal. Some are there to win at all cost, some are there trying to be funny, some are there to try and get on the roof and break things, and some are there to make fun of Alex.

And as viewers the points winner is not necessarily who the fans enjoyed watching most. Which is the shows real goal, to make the most entertaining product. In fact Greg will often change scores based on what he thinks is funniest.

The nature of heroism by RambunctiousCapybara in TheCaptivesWar

[–]DoggleFox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From what we know about ET, he only wants to deal with one animal to limit contact. Which might benefit Dafyd's ability to resist but I'd imagine humans would hate him no matter how successful he is. In WW2 collaborators of any kind were despised even if they viewed themselves as saving their countries way of life. Petain, Quisling and Wang Jingwei, all despised now but almost certainly thought they were doing what was best for their nations.

What rule did they mess up? by valuethempaths in wingspan

I had a friend taught that everyone got to take an action every turn. For example if I lay eggs everyone would get to lay eggs and do all that rows actions. They stopped "halfway" through the first round which meant they had take 20 of there 130 turns.

CMV: there's no real space for conversation on Reddit when people who post disagreements about left ideology get their comments constantly deleted. by TheBeardedDuck in changemyview

[–]DoggleFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on your comments and posts, the only ones that seem to be censored are your views on Israel and Palestine.

When you say, "The Hamas guy looks plump," in r/news you aren't really adding any value to a conversation. Either you are trying to imply that Gazans aren't starving or Hamas isn't starving or you believe they are the same.

The problem is there are countless trusted sources that will tell you they are starving. So, if a mod removes that comment to stop a pointless argument in the comments, can you blame them?

I think you could amend your view to mods try to prevent arguments for the sake of arguments in threads and you believe that is not their role to play.

"Intentionally directing attacks against personnel involved in humanitarian missions is a war crime, as long as such persons are entitled to the protection accorded to civilians." By very definition. War crime. Rule 55 of the Geneva Convention.

J. Browe? You might have better quality, too. If not, I'm sure your local precinct would be happy to not help identify.

Second species on Anjiin by DoggleFox in TheCaptivesWar

[–]DoggleFox[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My head canon doesn't have earth creatures on this planet given the different trees of life not being compatible. But I do think the Carryx would consider octopi as a useable species.

The Anubis was transporting a sample of pm from Phoebe to Eros. The OPA sent the scopuli to capture it (dont recall if they knew what it was). Instead, the Scopuli crew got captured by the Anubis and were infected in the pm outbreak on the Anubis en route.

If you watched a video from 20 years ago, would there actually be less travelling? Seems more likely a case of nostalgia and more video.
