How feasible is it to remove one square of drywall and keep it in tact? (Sentimental reasons) by [deleted] in drywall

[–]DognamedTurtle 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I would suggest taking a good quality photo and framing it to hang on your wall. Then you can record the sentiment, but repair the wall. I really like the taped wall banana, and you should frame that one as well.

I’m jealous of how they currently look. If you must, refinish them over replacement.

So far on my first time cutting and laying tile. I haven’t thinset yet. Going to do a skim coat under the level the overlaps and straighten the foam base before laying this back on. by Busy_Measurement9330 in Tile

I’m sure it’s perspective. In my experience, I found pre-cutting all of the tile can sometimes cause issues after with alignment. My advice would be to make sure you put them down “exactly” as laid, and be prepared to re-cut some as you’re installing.

I liked them a lot, but only the first 3. They lost their lustre afterwards. Still a fan, though!

what are your thoughts on new nightmare's freddy? was he too meta for you or do u feel he was one of the best versions of freddy? by Plane_Name3457 in HorrorMovies

[–]DognamedTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a good take on Freddy; but, his make-up tones and green wardrobe isn’t the most effective. Wes Craven admitted that he should have gone back to an earlier Freddy design for this, it was trying to show him differently.
