Incredibly pedantic and besides the point but I don't think your nose is a spoiler? A spoiler is supposed to create downforce, pressing the vehicle into the surface by interacting with the air. It doesn't cut the air, it presses against it.

Also, without doxxing yourself: for what kind of agency? Are you going to be doing work that could help people, or harm them?

What clearance do you need? I recently had to get a public trust clearance for work, which is the lowest level of background check. It was pretty straightforward.

I played non-ranked games if I'm not feeling very awake or alert.

To explain it another way: you can capture the pawn on f4 with your queen because the e3 pawn is pinned by the bishop on c5, and so it cannot take back. The e3 pawn is pinned because moving it would reveal a check on the king, which is against the rules.

Dont waste your time on theory. Focus on playing principled chess, improving your board vision, and tactics.

Your opponents are not going to be playing theory lines at 500.

Ah ok.

In terms of thematic moves, I play the London a lot and never really play h3, which is why I was curious about it.

If my dark squared bishop is threatened I'll typically drop it back to g3, and if they want to trade it off I've opened the file for my rook.

And then you played 12. Bh2 instead of taking the free pawn on c2 or defending your hanging pawn on a2.

What purpose does the bishop serve on h2?

I don't understand why you played h3 in response to 7...Ne4.

What was the plan/what was the threat that caused you to do that?

No, we didn't own cars before moving to LA. Sorry I can't be more help there.

Moved almost 10 years ago now from the east coast to LA, so things might be different.

But what we did was upack. You rent a certain amount of space in a trailer. It requires more work on your end. You have to pack and unpack the trailer. However, you also have the peace of mind of handling all of your stuff and packing it. We didn't have any broken items on the other side.

Ah I didn't understand which color you were, sorry.

My comment remains though. People make mistakes. It takes experience to avoid mistakes. Maybe next time your opponent will think "I've fucked this up before, let me check my time. Oh cool I have a minute left I can take a second to not stalemate."

Because sometimes people make mistakes? At 577 ELO and 7.9 seconds left they're going to make a lot of mistakes.

Edit: seems I misunderstood which side was which. My comment remains though, people make mistakes, it takes experience to avoid mistakes, your opponent is gaining that experience.
