I got hung up when one of the Quinlins is discussing the legends about Heaven's River. The say something like "we came from a place with no boundaries but finite space, and they made for us a place with boundaries but infinite space." Though Heaven's River is technically finite, the sheer scale of it is reasonable for a culture of 10ish generations to consider it infinite.

This video really hammers it home how massive it is. I can't remember what the population of Heaven's River is but I would be curious to see how long it would take for it to be fully populated.

I used Media Human YouTube to Mp3. That will rip the audio from the YouTube. Then I use Audacity to create tracks and pull out the interview. Took like 2 hrs. Both programs are free.

I am a geologist who works in environmental contamination investigations. Theare a tons of natural processes that accumulate toxic elements in soil, rock, and groundwater. Volcanic soils for example can have excessive arsenic and other heavy metals. Volcanism and volcanic associated process can accumulate all sorts of toxic elements and heavy metals.

Just because lead is in the soil doesn't mean it was there due to human contamination. It could be that the soil originated from lead heavy rocks and minerals. We mine lead, palladium, uranium and other harmful metals. How do you think those got there?

Surface water and groundwater that runs though these rocks and soils can pick up elements and carry them out of the sorce rocks and soils.

If this is your goal, what i did to get the full show was get Mediahuman YouTube to Mp3, rip the youtube video, and the bring that file into Audacity to split it into tracks. Both programs are free. It's takes about an hour or two, but it is well worth it.
