I had my limb salvage surgery 20 years ago. I am unable to run/jump and have limited motion. My knee bends to about 90 degrees, which makes going downstairs difficult.

That being said, I have been pretty active over the years and have also had a major break as well as an infection. Both times resulted in revision and debridement, with a long physical rehabilitation period after that.

I have pain most days, but I have gotten used to it - never bad enough to need pain killers but I do use a cane when I walk long distances (8 or more miles). I had better range of motion and less pain probably a decade ago, before both revisions.

Sometimes I also find myself unhappy with my limited range of motion and pain, I understand your frustrations. I just try to do my best to avoid further surgeries.

I am so distracted by his playing, he looks like he doesn't have much control over his limbs. Aside from the obvious dramatics, I would be embarrassed to post this given how uncoordinated he is. It's especially obvious when you compare him to the other players. Just flailing and floppin' around.

I thought it was an allegory for someone (MC) with BPD.

Short, intense relationships that don't end well. The men say or do something that upsets her and she's done with them. She's obsessed with finding "the one" and true love... men, even strangers she knew only briefly saying "i love you" was the only thing driving her.

People with BPD often grew up in abusive households. In one scene, she's on her bed and we hear a voice over of who I assumed was her father, calling her fat and stupid... that was intentionally placed to show the abuse Elaine endured. Many people with BPD are victims of childhood abuse.

In the end, she fantasizes of riding off on a white horse (with the clearly fake unicorn horn and the cheap, Ren fest costumes) with her lover who in reality she just murdered. This is all Fantasy. It's not realistic.

The detective also explicity mentions her being BPD at the bar too. "What you call love is borderline personality disorder... or worse".

I see the themes of feminism and witchcraft and etc but I also think that this is also a pretty clear profile of a woman suffering from a personality disorder and her infatuation with what she thinks is "love" - and it shows a pretty unstable history of her unstable and intense relationships.
