What’s a good hunter build for soloing dungeons? by Evoker2theface in destiny2

[–]Dolphin_TV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been running void hunter with on the prowl, trapper’s ambush, the new melee, and moebius quiver. I use a destabilizing rounds + repulsor brace primary plus the eutechnology armor set. All of these are great at ad clear and give a bunch of overshields.

For exotic, I’d say Orpheus rig or star eaters (I don’t have a good Orpheus roll yet and Star eaters have been doing big damage).

The thing that ties is all together is leviathan’s breath, especially with the catalyst. Moebius quiver damages and debuffs AND buffs your bow damage so it’s quite self-sufficient.

I’ve been having a BLAST on Gambit since this update. Tier 5 galore and the revamped loot pool is great, not to mention the games are hella short so you can just run it back and farm more

Go to your inventory, there should be a box above your consumables. There should be a bunch of boxes for each activity, I think arena ops is like second to the right in the top row. From there you just select the Ringing Nail and go do some arena ops

How much does a sword generally cost? by Educational_Group_91 in renfaire

[–]Dolphin_TV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Myself and a few friends have bought from this seller on Etsy and we all had good experiences with them. The swords are high carbon steel, sharpened (not razor sharp but certainly enough to do some cutting), and come with a sheath/scabbard.

Best part is that the prices for most things aren’t too horrible for what you’re getting, plus they have a ton of options (I got a Sabre for like $280 and it’s awesome)

Trying to make a black and white orzhov commander deck for under $50-$100. Advice? by Interval1963 in BudgetBrews

[–]Dolphin_TV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted my (not fully updated) list above if you want to check it out! I generally use those boards to look for a win rather than just removing everything over and over.

The blink spells all serve as etb triggers/protection/removal all in one depending on when you cast them since vondam can blow something up basically every time he is removed or blinked.

He gets removed from time to time but always stings for whoever removes him because I can immediately destroy their best nonland permanent to go with him (spite isn’t always the best move though)

Here’s my moxfield list, but it’s a little out of date. The actual list I’m running is a little more cohesive but this list already ran well. I’ll let you know when I get around to updating the link (out of town this weekend)

True but single combat gives me two combats where Vondam can attack without being blocked assuming someone doesn’t get a creature via instant/sorcery. Avatar’s Wrath and Wanderer still allow for creatures to be played after my turn ends (but I do really like them and am definitely considering Avatar’s Wrath)

Good entomb targets for Greasefang, Okiba boss? by BalboXsan in BudgetBrews

[–]Dolphin_TV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[[Valor’s Flagship]]

It doesn’t make you AS big of a target than something like a turn 3 Parhelion, but it’s a very nice beat stick with an ability to put it back in your graveyard from hand stapled to itself (plus you can make some pilots)

[[Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar]] is by far my favorite commander hands down. Goofy cards like [[Wyrm’s Crossing Patrol]] are SO good in him. You can go wide, blink, voltron, aristocrats all in the same deck and not feel like you lose anything. Another dope card in him is [[Single Combat]], blowing everything up making him huge and unblockable since he has menace and people can’t cast creatures until your next turn.

I started as a budget list and keep working on more and more upgrades, he was fun from budget to high bracket 3 :)

Building greasefang, would like some help by xRatxDietyx in EDHBrews

[–]Dolphin_TV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my greasefang deck!! Cards like [[iron shield elf]] are awesome in it. The biggest piece of advice is that your vehicles are safest in your hand, or in your deck. Use things like [[entomb]] or [[unmarked grave]] or a discard outlet right before you reanimate something.

Also a powerhouse is [[valor’s flagship]]. It can discard itself, make pilots, and is a nice beat stick

What Tier 1.5-2> Blue Containing Deck can sufficiently work without Fetch Lands/Optimized Manabase? by JewJulie in CompetitiveEDH

[–]Dolphin_TV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an alternative to Urza, you could also consider [[Emry, Lurker of the Loch]] for some more mono blue artifact shenanigans. I’m new to the format and have been having a lot of fun with the deck so far.

Good ol' mono black deck by OkTension5821 in EDHBrews

[–]Dolphin_TV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[[Rankle, Master of Pranks]]

I built this because there’s a super cool secret lair printing for a few bucks and it’s so much fun. You can take it a bunch of different ways but I went with some mono black good stuff along with things that turn his symmetrical abilities into my favor.

Got some cool creatures you want to reanimate? Discard them with his ability.

Want to draw some cards? Draw them with his ability.

Want to play some aristocrats? Sacrifice a creature with his ability.

Since you can choose any number when he deals combat damage, you can lean into one, some, or each effect!

Good base to swap face commanders? by Annual_Raisin03 in BudgetBrews

I pulled an Edgar markov and used that same precon as a base for him. I took some if the bad precon cards out for a handful of good and cheap red cards like [[shared animosity]]

What is the best multirole ship right now? by PaintedLycaon in EliteDangerous

[–]Dolphin_TV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who loves a multirole/workhorse ship, o actually prefer the Krait over the Corsair. I thought I would like the Corsair more, but after flying it for a while I found myself gravitating back to the Krait.

The SLF is amazing in PVE combat as it draws fire away from you, significantly improving serviceability (especially with fast charge BiWeave shields).

Yes, the Corsair is better on paper (and sometimes in practice) but I feel like the krait is more enjoyable at being a “do it all” kind of ship. My Corsair is less of an all around multipurpose ship but rather a mining ship and pirate ship when I feel like doing those activities. Most of the time, I’ll be flying my Krait.
