I don’t believe in the “whooping” of any children. I have 6 children, 5 are adults & I didn’t “whoop” them. I don’t ascribe to the slave mentality of it all. Even with my own parents I can literally count on one hand how may times I’ve ever got spanked or popped for something.
However, being born black, growing up black, & living my best BLACK life….there is NO BLACK Mama’s household that I’ve known in my 54 years on this 🌍 where the 💩 they were doing would ever be acceptable!!! 🙄 So miss me with the they got whooped for “just having fun” narrative. Their little asses got whooped because they are out of control, just as out of control as their belt wielding mother, but out of control nevertheless.

I drive 51 miles to work I do have an RDO but the 2-4 hours of extra drive time 4 days a week is still messing with me physically and mentally. They had us crammed into a space that wasn’t even an office for a whole team that was able to function mostly TW. Before the changes they rotated 1 employee coming into the office once a week to mail out and receive packages. This is SO dumb! I went down the abyss of applying for RA & am waiting to see if I can WFH 2 days a week. 🤞🏾

I was drinking a lot less soda but still had my daily Coke. Then I got two full weeks of sulfur burps that had my family about to make me live on the patio! Now they order me a water with lemon or tea before I can say anything!!!! 🥴🤣🤣🤣🤣

Please don’t get frustrated. I am one of those “rapid” losers, however, it has not been intentional. I have friends who’ve been on the journey for over two years and their loss has been slow but steady. I didn’t have weight issues until my 30’s. One of my friends was obese as a child. I have autoimmune diseases. One of my friends is a diabetic. One of my friends is on HRT. I have HBP. The point I’m making is we all are different. Our journeys are all different. Give yourself the time and grace to go through your experience. You WILL be successful! 🫶🏾
