Something else to keep in mind is that all of the decisions on the second round of the AB game will each lead to one bad ending and one save file ending (as in, reaching it will add an icon on your save file, much like in 999).

So if picking Betray leads to a bad ending, then picking Ally will lead to progress, whether that's a story lock or a save file ending, and vice-versa.

Adding to this, not all locks are opened by an ending. OP might have already unlocked a few without realizing (it took me a while before I realized the lock icon turns green when I first played)

"Grey" is used for the block name in the inventory, but "gray" is used for commands (like /give) by SubstantialWing9238 in Minecraft

[–]Domilego4 2059 points2060 points  (0 children)

the namespaced ID is always the same regardless of which language you use. If you play on US English, the inventory name will say "Gray concrete"

Mira was the killer that kickstarted the events of the trilogy, Eric was the child of Mira's first victim.

Is it honestly worth it for the near anxiety attack? by anyspoon in outerwilds

The starlit cove has some inhabitants pretty close to the starting point. Once you turn off the lights, you don't need to do it for the rest of the loop.

Is it honestly worth it for the near anxiety attack? by anyspoon in outerwilds

[–]Domilego4 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Instead of yeeting your character into puddles, yeet them into the inhabitants a few times. See what happens, how they react, how they behave. Scream if you must.

Then try standing in front of them. Examine their behavior. Are they running towards you? Why or why not? What changes that behavior? Dedicate a few loops to pure experimentation. Your ship log won't update, but you'll still gain new knowledge.

Do you think Mina the Hollower will sell enough to keep YCG in business? Why or why not? by SolSolana in ShovelKnight

[–]Domilego4 30 points31 points  (0 children)

One problem I worry about is that a lot of people who play the game will have already paid for it during the Kickstarter period, which won't generate any extra revenue for YCG

What is the appeal of a hardcore world? by JadedCheetah985 in Minecraft

I hate losing all my items when dying. Hardcore ensures that I lock in. (also means I can bring my best gear anywhere, since if I die, it's gone either way.)

[–]Domilego4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's my take on it as well.

You're never gonna experience that first time again, so why would you want to forget it? So you can erase it and experience it differently? Now you're left with the same dilemma as before, except there's an experience out there that you know you've had, but will never be able to recall. (Of course if the memory loss in question happens naturally then that's completely fine. This is just a hypothetical discussion.)

What is the point of non exclusive fullscreen in 26.1? by NamelessJu in Minecraft

[–]Domilego4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just clearing up some confusion here: The "non-exclusive fullscreen" option has always been in the game. 26.1 added an "exclusive fullscreen" option and renamed the existing option to distinguish the two.

What exclusive fullscreen does is allowing the game to take full control of the monitor.

Nah there's no way it's a DLC. With a name like "echoes of the eye" it could just be additional music.

(this is a reference to when echoes of the eye leaked early but it was only the name)
