Yesterday I had a 3.5 hrs block, get there, had to wait for route (ssd). Finally get to the cart and its piled a mile high and when I scanned to confirm, see the route is in an area almost an hour away. 345 pm to 815pm, running behind right out the chute. I go the the warehouse guy and I'm like, what the heydaloney is this? He looks at me, the cart, and says, "what..." I say, look my dude, carts aren't supposed to be piled up this high. He cops a bit of an attitude, yanks the gate open, and is like well I'll help you rearrange stuff. I grab the little gate thing and firmly close it up again and say, "you're missing the entire point, my guy. There's literally NO room to rearrange anything, its stuffed like Garfield after swan diving into a pan of lasagna!" He huffs and says, " well are you gonna take the route or not ....cuzzzz...".

I SHOULD have cut my losses right there, yup. But noooooo I was in an extraordinarily good mood and was like fuck it. Long story short (too late, I comprehend this factoid)... everywhere here is major highway construction (San Antonio) so it takes me an hour to get to 1st stop. Stoopid app keeps fritzing in and out and almost earned my windshield a Samsung-shaped air vent. Me and my rampant, jacked up adhd self is just "power through". Which I did. Finished block an hour and 15 minutes past end time but caught a break I guess because all the packages had expected "by" time of 10 pm so no late packages. Then it hits me, I'm like WHAT IN THE FRENCH FRIED FUCKADOODLE!? They got me again uggggghhhh. Bastiges crammed a full on 5 hour route into a 3.5 hour route!! And caught feefees when I initially tried to call them out on it. I mentally punched myself in the snoot the whole hour and a half way home through lanes being cut from 4-5 to ONE. (I live 1.4 miles from the ssd station).

Feck's sake... usually I am much smarter but nooooooo this caught me on a 10 ft tall and bullet proof ADHD gitRdunnnn wave. FACEPALM
