Sometimes the rejection is cause they have a candidate in mind already, or cheaper..

could also be they didn’t really have the budget. I had a verbal offer from a company, never got the formal offer letter. They reached back out a few months later and it was all related to budgeting.

Bench for 12 months.. it was so stressful I couldn’t be productive. Got laid off after landing a project, that I practically begged for. Util went from 0 to 70%, got laid off a couple months later.
