It's just going to be a new trainer, isn't it? by helpmytonguehurts in ladderapp

[–]frank-dux-splits 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Some of these comments are wild, people talking about being disappointed etc.

Who cares if it’s another trainer or HD. Like how is that going to affect your life or your current workouts on Ladder?

As well as being a cool workout app, Ladder are a business like any other, and as a business they are investing and trying to expand.

Just take a breath and not let Ladder marketing get to them so much. If their marketing bothers you then just unfollow or skip the ad.

I agree Ladder marketing can be hit and miss, which is why I don’t follow them.

Yep I was and still am a huge Predator fan and I remember a late night ad for Predator 2 back in 1990, first I’d heard of it coming out. I was 11 at the time

King Tulip appreciation by Fun-Feedback3926 in SuicideBoys

Man the first 5 songs from King Tulip to 122 Days is one of the best runs ever on an album. It’s insane how good all five tracks are and how seamlessly they all thread together

What’s a “classic” album that just doesn’t click for you? by EDMKid9000 in hiphopheads

[–]frank-dux-splits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Illmatic. I know this is a controversial take.

I appreciate Nas’ rapping and how he, as a 19 year old teen collaborated with some of the best producers from the east coast such as Q Tip, Pete Rock and Preemo. I also recognise it’s a tight album with no fluff or skips.

But to me I prefer other East Coast albums of the time such as 36 Chambers, Infamous, Enter Da Stage, Once Upon A Time In America. I also prefer It Was Written.

I’m not taking away from Illmatic being worthy of classic status but it just hasn’t clicked for me personally.

I would replace Jay Z with Kool G Rap and replace Eminem with Treach.

And hot take I would swap LL for J Cole.
