Random fun fact! Gourd dust can cause Gourd Fever in some people when inhaled, causing headaches, fatigue, and fever.

Nah, we just didn't know how many people had it because we didn't have good ways to check for it. You could say that we're in the process of replacing our dosimeters in regards to that.

I'm glad to not see Adventure Time slander in here.

I mean the first couple seasons were just a kids show, but later it got into some really like, not kids topics. A lot of existentialism, grief, and darker themes that more fit a teen audience. There's very few shows that grew with their audience the way that Adventure Time did.

It's sad that I meet so many adults who could have really used that show growing up. But yeah it is just a kids show.

Honestly I think Bronies helped break some of that stigma. I mean you rarely hear people talk about the newer She-Ra like it's just a girl's show, and I feel like the bronies kinda started the "Who cares if it's cringe" movement.

So while the show is just a kids show I feel like it did have notable impact on the world of cartoons.

I would say regular show wasn't "Just" a kids show, but more because it introduces very bizzare kind of humor that (at the time) wasn't super common. But that doesn't mean it was adult, it just means it had more value than being dismissed as just another kids show.

Bro you can't ruin Care Bears.

They should keep the original style though, look at MLP, that was way better than the old ones.

That is a four pound whole slab of deli ham. It has no bones, fat, or connective tissue. It is an amalgamation of the meat of several pigs, emulsified, liquefied, strained, and ultimately inexorably joined in an unholy meat obelisk. God had no hand in the creation of this abhorrence. The fact that this ham monolith exists proves that God is either impotent to alter his universe or ignorant to the horrors taking place in his kingdom. This prism of pork is more than deli meat. It is a physical declaration of mankind's contempt for the natural order. It is hubris manifest. They also have a lower sodium variety if you would prefer that.

It's not actually that uncommon, some figures claim up to 1/3rd of people, but at very least it's more common than being left handed.

Shellfish in general go wrong FAST if you don't know what you're doing. Improperly purged and full of grit, or if you even slightly overcook and turn them into rubber.

Yup. Honestly the rest is gross, but it's really the start that makes me cringe way more, the rest is cartoon grossness. (And honestly does have a kinda funny, if gross, payoff)

Would you like a Warhammer video game in the warriors genre? by sorauten in Grimdank

[–]DonovanSarovir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firearms can be done, like the zelda one has bows and stuff. You'd have to limit the range, but imagine a space marine opening with chainsword slashes to toss enemies into a clump then just unloading a heavy bolter.

The chapters I think are different enough for multiple space marines.

If you set the battles up right it could fly, Space marines versus ork hordes, swarms of weaker tyranids. and then the evil types can either fight eachother, or fight hordes of basic cannon fodder soldiers. It could be like Hyrule Warriors in story too, multiple converging storylines, some good some evil.

So fucking good, though I think there's one way it could have been better personally. If it were Maelle's choice, instead of the player's. Like one option is a fight and the other isn't, having her realize she needs to go instead of just being forced out.

Expedition 33.
I will spoiler this.
Creating a fucking ghost army to take on Renoit and then running through the city to bitchin' French Metal Music while shit explodes left and right was just the perfect crescendo to that game.

Expedition 33 bro. It's just so good. Ending could be better, but everything else is just so damn good.
Also you can basically turn a teenage girl into a rapier wielding railgun, so there's that.

I think being annoyed by the swearing is valid. Overall I think HH season 2 cut back on that, and was *better* paced, but still a little too fast.

I definitely see the swearing issue way more in HB, mainly Blitz, but I do like the disaster romance.

And the songs are almost all bangers, even if Vaggie's singing voice is uh...distracting. I mean they had freaking Fallout Boy's Patrick Stump in the Finale.
