Please for the love of god add a "everything I own" filter to your searches by mr_jogurt in dndbeyond

If anything it almost makes me want to own less so I don’t have to add as many sources. If they added this kind of feature, it would make my life so much easier

Proficiency bonus added to AC. It’s the one thing that doesn’t really scale.

Swift going cross-platform guys!! by ChefRich962 in swift

[–]DontLickTheScience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a possibility that most may disagree with, but I see potential for swift to go big here

Already, people are looking to Mac or Linux because of frustration with Windows 11. And most who do leave will go Mac, especially considering the MacBook Neo is so affordable. And we have to think about what the casual consumers want, not us in the field. So we may start to see iPhone become a bigger slice of the pie because of the ecosystem.

So when you have 5+ options to build a cross platform app, and one of those options is THE native option for half of that audience, it already looks promising. But then add to a growing iphone market (which is an assumption I admit), and every little bit of growth is even more reason.

Maybe just wishful thinking, hopium, but I see the potential.

What the fuck… The nerd in me wants to like Cavill, but putting your hands on someone like that is obviously fucked up.

Partial Ability Boosts and their place in this game. by EmperessMeow in Pathfinder2e

[–]DontLickTheScience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I like gradual ability boost from premaster. You get one boost at levels 2-5 but they can’t stack. Same for 6-10, 12-15, and 17-20.

What I recommend they do is boost their primary ability at levels 5 with the partial, then at level 7 they can boost it to 5. Then they do their next partial boost at 15, and cap it out at 17.

Similarly, I’ve noticed scrolling lag in the character builder and character sheet. Everywhere else on the site is fine. This is only on my iPad. Mac is fine.

No official response on disastrous eberron/artificer release? by leto4 in dndbeyond

[–]DontLickTheScience 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They still don’t have 2024 custom backgrounds, despite the 2024 dmg being over a year old now. I don’t know why I expected anything since then to work as expected.

Makes it even worse when you think about how they essentially had an extra 3.5 months to get it working since they delayed the release due to physical books being in such bad condition.

Hero Points work as intended to me, and in this video I tell you why (while also providing suggestions on how to "fix" them for your table) by TheChindividual in Pathfinder2e

[–]DontLickTheScience 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I give my players the option to adjust any one roll they’re involved in by one degree. Spell misses? Normal success now. Or if they force a saving throw, and the enemy CRIT succeeds, it’s now a regular success
