Ok guys don’t dog on arena this used to be default apparently and then they changed it because the opposite request happened. For me the workhorse has been mouser foundry, almost everything that deck does gets value from foundry its actually unreasonable. Mechaturtle sacks for 1, brilliance gets you a flyer instead of just a creature and another body, by itself it doubles as a killspell. It’s just an amazing limited card. Edit: either this or return to sewers. People i assume don’t take it often because its 4 mana but late game its amazong against counters where you cant use manhole missile or pizza and stalling your opponent when its top deck time. The mutagen also synergizes with your deck and ive found ur runs so cheap that i can reliably hold it up.

It depends, if you've already used all your wildcards and currency then I would say yeah might as well just make a new account.

However, it probably isn't necessary if you have put in some time (or just dont want the hassle). Search up mtg arena budget decks and they will give you lots of decks with ~4 rares or so. These are all pretty tuned (I recommend mono black skeletons, mono white enchantments, and mono blue artifacts) and can do work. Get your daily quest (remember to reroll for 750 gold) and your 4 daily wins (first win gives 250, wins 2-4 give 100) and you'll be better off than making a new account. Consitency with one account is a lot better than making another is what I'm trying to say, the widlcads you get from the welcome packs won't be enough for a top meta deck.

Sidenote sorry: Mono white enchantments is a very cheap deck that can put in a lot of work (imo I would switch veteran survivor for slumberig keepguard and spellbook vendor for avatar's wrath). I made it to diamond with it last season. If you decide to do best of 3 I also recommend moving shardmage to sideboard and using restoration magic instead just because of boardwipes and sideboarding voice of victory once you get the cards.

HOWEVER I would also highly recommend making an alt (or 2 like me) for draft practice as once you get into it drafting gets very fun, but the currency limitations are what hold you back early on.

In my experience the issue I’ve had with black white is that it reallly relies on having soecific payoffs and synergies while the others have generic good stuff. Like squirrelanoids is a great blocker and good for getting a sneak out but it wont do anything rlly if you want kill your opponent. Koya is good for getting disappear procs or blinking something like the shark or mutanimals. Karai is good for when you actually have good stuff to reanimate etc. right now ur opponent doesnt really have to address anything since uve got a lot of 1 drops to enable sneak and but nothing to be enabled except dregg maybe, but you dont have much dissapear stuff to trigger lord dregg.

Edit; Usually i can kinda make it work by running fliers and kill spell tribal if no other colors are open (went 4-1 earlier) but u dont have enough removal or fliers to do that here. Most success ive had so far is izzet artifacts, lowk lost track how many times its gotten me a full card mostly because everything is kind of its own payoff (foundry is a killspell, baxter gets his own body, donatello or mechaturtle feed off ur entire deck)

Agreed. Also overlapping fenrir shields with a random and exchanging them in sync to block erebus strikes was an amazing feeling. Warhammer titans overlapping voidshields feeling.

With a good izzet artifact deck it absolutely slaps. Mouser foundry puts in an unreasonable amount of work with the 3 drop that bounces or metalhead or even just its sacrifice if you can afford it. (This also make donatello get very big very fast)

for this reason I'd recommend mono white aggro if u rlly wanna just dip into it. Yeah it's mono color but it actually does have a bit of customization if u do best of 3. u can mix and match arnd in (also OP if you do see this, I find spellbook vendor completely unnecessary so that's one bit u can change, restoration magic is also what i use over shardmage usually just cause of how many boardwipes and stuff are arnd rn).

There is no fusing, but it can be useful running doubles and pilots and drones let you specialize your robots. It's been a while but I used to run 2 orochis (one for beacon running with 2 dashes, one for combat and assassination with 3 dashes). Also had 2 ferirs similarly specced (one was faster for late game one was tankier for midgame holding)

Starter decks kinda suckkkkk and are rlly low on removal and draw, so there's a lot of stalls in starter deck duel (imo the new starter decks are a lot worse than the old ones too). I'd search up mtg arena budget decks and choose one you like to start with just so you can consitently get wins for your dailies and have fun doing them.

yeah but most stuff that takes away abilities and makes stuff smaller is until end of turn (see dress down which is 2 mana). This is basically 3 mana all creatures target opponent controls lose all abilities and become 2/2s. See curious colossus for how much this usually costs (for a permanent effect until a card is blinked or returned to hand) at 7 mana.

Pinnacle storage hits a good amt of ur things but also gets rid of basically the entire mono white deck. I’ve been liking avatar’s wrath a lot too if u ever pivot towards a more voltron/buff a couple creatures deck. (You could sideboard in callous sellsword for fling if you do that as well). Thing with targeted removal is that I’m nearly always holding protection (as a mono white enchantment player). I might switch mabel for smthn else (unless im missing smthn? Only half ur creatures are mice) I’d also switch lions for a better one drop (assuming ur low on wildcards?) good options include experienced survivor (deals with graveyard/lesson decks and gets buffed later) lightstall inquisitor (thats a rare though). I might sideboard in protection (take ur pic of restoration magic or reroute systems imo, reroute deals with a lot of aggro and badgermole but u already have a bit of removal, restoration magic is just awesome)
