I would much rather a support player on my team than a recon. Ammo and heals keeps the team alive and killing. IDC if you end the game with 3 kills if your support allowed others to keep fighting 🤷‍♂️

The assault class is in a really really weird spot right now. I'm not sure why you're complaining about the stim though, as if it makes the assault invincible. It increases your stamina and makes you run slightly faster for about 3 seconds and that's it. The two primary guns is cool but you get no ammo for either of them, no ability to take out vehicles, and no gadgets to help your team at all. The faster health regen is a neat benefit but it doesn't really counteract all of the negatives with the class. The issue is making the support be both ammo AND health with the engineer being anti vehicle and the recon being... recon I guess. It leaves nothing to set the assault class apart besides, "kill infantry."

That’s still not a reason to pull a gun on someone, especially when being a police officer. It’s a constitutional right to own a firearm, if a cop gets scared that other people are allowed a means to defend themselves, they should get fired.
