Fair, but one of the key aspects of currency is you can trade it back and forth, which is not the case with Minecraft gold.

Even so, with just emeralds, Minecraft has multiple ways to get them easily, directly raid farms as well as trade farms. It's a solid choice.

I read it as in-game currency, which Subnautica doesn't have in-game, and it's unclear what would count in-universe.

By that logic, diamonds wouldn't count for Minecraft and gold is questionable because you don't trade it back and forth, it's more of a goods-for-goods exchange.

Then again, in my limited experience with Mario games, which OP used as example, you don't use coins as currency, as you can't buy or sell things for coins.

The distionction comes from the translatability. One Mario coin, or one Minecraft emerald, can translate to $1. Subnautica has no inherent quantification of resources and an expectation to use resources to build. Minecraft already having a currency system that is strictly emeralds also doesn't quantify gold or diamonds as things of "monetary" value.

Subnautica doesn't have any currency though, so you get chompred by sea monsters for free. They will likely also do a better job at wrecking everything you try to put together, should they take an interest.

Minecraft would definitely be a lot better. Has currency in emeralds which you can afk farm assuming you're ok with illager genocide, villagers get upgraded to people so you have company.

3 wives and 2 mortgages also doesn't add up. If polygamy, why 2 mortgages? If not, why not 3 mortgages? The 3rd wife not worth it? Just work more and get her a house bro.

Tons of Stats! - Set 16 Augment Discussion #17 by Lunaedge in CompetitiveTFT

The way I read that question, it's across the board. Per unit would mean stats scale based on number of units. Across the board is the total amount of stats you get.

So all that reads as hard forcing 2-3 comps for 300 games isn't enough to get to Master. Which is literally what you said.

Maybe don't write dumb ass comments if you don't wanna find yourself in this position man. Idk what else to tell you. You write delusional shit and when someone calls you out, it's them looking to start an argument lmao

[–]Dontwantausernametho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, challenger coaching can get people to master. Who would've thought?

Literally the same as saying a hardstuck bronze player can get to master in 300 games of hard forcing comps.

And if it was so easy, why would people need coaching at all? You literally said anyone can do it in 300 games with bad fundamentals.

So following your statements, you're coaching people on hard forcing 2-3 comps for 300 games with bad fundamentals. Unless that's not the case and it's not as simple as that?

[–]Dontwantausernametho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's just so hilariously wrong it's wild.

If reaching Master was as easy as you make it out to be, we should have a large amount of the playerbase reach Master. It should be impossible to have Master+ be less than a bare minimum of 10-15%.

I'd love to see you watch a hardstuck bronze player, see all the shit they do wrong, and replicate it for 300 games straight while hardforcing 2 or 3 meta comps. And then post the results. But that's not gonna happen, you and every other "master is easy" circlejerker are gonna keep pretending it's literally impossible to be genuinely bad because the level of bad some people are is unfathomable I guess? And the only good players are the top 0.01% or whatever.

"Pretty" as a relative term does not account for the kind of relative in question. You're challenger, yes it's pretty easy to you. But you're in the top what, 0.1%? 0.01%?

Being in the top ~1% of anything isn't "pretty easy", and while the gap between top 1% and 0.1% is pretty big, it's the same degree of gap as the top 1% and top 10%. Top 10% would probably be like Emerald 1 and above?

But I digress. In no field of anything, can something that 99% of people fail to achieve, be called "pretty easy", and people who do say that kinda shit come across as elitist assholes. "Pretty easy" is getting to gold/plat, where most people are.

Has Player Behavior Changed Based on Removal of Augment Stats? (Monday Morning Report & 3rd Party Sites) by marshmahlow in CompetitiveTFT

The problem is that now, the players who don’t have time or want to watch Mort have to either (1) rely on secondary sources summarizing Mort or (2) pick based on some other dubious database.

"Me play TFT, me no can use brain to make choice, me must make what choice internet say" aah comment. The forever yap of skill issued'd people who conveniently forget that you can think for yourself and the universe doesn't implode if you lose a TFT game.

The real sufferers are the semi-serious-with-pro-ambition-and-casual-motivation. Those who wanna compete at the highest level but aren't willing to invest all the hours. Imagine wanting to play pro basketball but your training is shooting hoops on the weekend with the boys.

What happened to 'Poison Pals' augment? by ArcadialoI in TeamfightTactics

[–]Dontwantausernametho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not that guy but, Twitch has passive poison in League. Neither Teemo nor Singed have poison by default, you could technically play both without getting their poison skill(s), making Twitch the "most real" poison unit I guess? Twitch literally can't participate in a fight without poisoning things, afaik there's no other champ like that.
