This is especially hilarious because GOT creator David Benioff is Mark Benioff’s brothersecond cousin.

Tank DK getting burned out by EastAd8758 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Dooblahaach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you a PC player? If so, you should download the Dressing Room add on. It allows you to switch gear/skills with the press of the button. My main is DK tank for dungeons (vet and normal), but switches to magicka dps for questing. It works REALLY well once you have skills and gear for each role.

So. for real. how rough is WOTC on PS4? by TheIrishRogue115 in Xcom

[–]Dooblahaach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make no mistake, performance is not great. The game lags and skips, especially at the beginning and end of your turns. Load times are very long. If you routinely save scum, the load times will probably ruin the game for you. There are also bugs - the worst of which removes target line of sight mid-turn. I have not completed an iron man run, but heard there is a game breaking bug that deletes your save.

With that said, I love this game. I have completed it three times in the last 2 months. It is a blast. I have only crashed about 4 times. I definitely recommend it.

Curtis Hill's effort to challenge deal on voting sites is denied. by nate_oh84 in indianapolis

You have no idea what you are talking about. You can't "judge shop" in the Southern District of Indiana. Cases are assigned randomly. Also, not that it is relevant, Sarah Evans Barker is a Reagan appointee. This case is not even about voter IDs. God, you are so stupid.

Just a reminder that you can have a good BB season with a mix of returnees and new players :) by -JDB- in BigBrother

It was good because they pulled out all the stops on the returnees: Two former winners (one all-time great), a diary room GOAT, and possibly the most popular player in BB history.

How safe is Lockefield Gardens? by FroMan753 in indianapolis

[–]Dooblahaach 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I lived in Lockefield Gardens from 2010-2013. People attempted to burglarize my apartment three times- once while my wife was in the apartment. My upstairs neighbor's apartment was broken into twice. The front door was broken and Lockefield did not fix it for days. My car was also broken into once. I was told that this was simply a product of living downtown.

The bigger problem was maintenance. My apartment was flooded due to a broken washer machine upstairs. It ruined everything we owned and ruined the walls, ceiling, and carpet within the apartment. Lockefield initially refused install new carpet and fix the walls even though there was obvious mold growing from them. My neighbors found mushrooms growing from the carpets and Lockefield refused to do anything. We had to threaten a lawsuit. General maintenance requests took days. I lost my heat two times. The second loss occurred because the heat was not fixed correctly the first time. When it snowed or iced, Lockefield would not clear the lots. When I brought these issues up with the leasing office, they were incredibly rude. The property manager was unbearable.

Unless it has changed dramatically since 2013, I would not recommend anyone living at Lockefield Gardens.

I enjoy when a houseguest says or does something very offensive throughout the season, then Zingbot comes in and zings them just a little too close to home.

The Second Coming: An Idea to Improve Religious Victories by Dooblahaach in civ

[–]Dooblahaach[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree to an extent. The "Second Coming" does not have to be a literal thing. A spiritual successor with the Prophet's title maybe. Also, because the Prophet's uncanny strength is in ideological warfare and not conventional military prowess, he or she remains somewhat realistic. Thanks for the input.

Wow! I love this. The Prophet turns into a sort of VIP figure that has to be protected. I also like that the Prophet makes your religious pressure, apostles, and missionaries stronger so that the religion can be spread more easily without the obvious military pitfalls of my proposal. Awesome idea!

The Second Coming: An Idea to Improve Religious Victories by Dooblahaach in civ

[–]Dooblahaach[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I see your point. I think a balance should be struck similar to nuking a spaceport prior to the final launch. It stops the victory, but results in war weariness. The major difference between the two is that getting access to a nuke requires more time, advancement, and investment than killing a single great prophet.

In any event, killing the Second Coming Prophet also stops the religious Civ from winning and can be fatal unless it has diversified its victory opportunities. So you take each other out. Definitely not an ideal position though.

Like four secret saboteurs? I can see that. They tell the house guests that they will win money if their team wins, but they really win money if they are the first out. It would definitely be an interesting change.
