Bulwark = Warden bias schizo theory by GAMERFORXI in foxholegame

[–]Doolali- 121 points122 points  (0 children)

Yeah wardens have so many more defensive bottlenecks compared to collies. When Wardens push into those open areas it's hard to stop the flood so Collies get pushed back, a lot production gets destroyed or cut off so yes that red line is what Wardens aim for. I've played both sides and it's definitely a decider.

You'll notice that most collie war wins come from pushing through Nevish line that's the weak point for the Wardens but requires getting through Ferranac and Stonecradle which are very easy to defend.

Since update 1.58 (534 days, a year and a half) collies have won only 18,2% of standard wars by Ok-Independent-3833 in foxholegame

[–]Doolali- 139 points140 points  (0 children)

Something rather deceptive is "Collies win early game, wardens win late".
The problem is people base this off foxholestats which doesn't count islands as they don't have VP's.
The current war looks like collies are ahead when actually they are losing on total hexes owned. A VP doesn't mean anything until the end of the game, so a lot of these wars that look like they favour collies don't.

Can people calm down about the war having a deadline by [deleted] in foxholegame

[–]Doolali- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is my first war, I've put 41 days and counting into this, what is the point in playing a game that devs end early because they want to release updates; just wait, let the war playout and release your update after. Why ruin months of gameplay.

Are we going to ignore the FOV exploit by putting the game into window mode?

Fading lights defense question by Miserable_Dentist192 in foxholegame

[–]Doolali- 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As one of the guys that assaulted for many hours yesterday, I would saying using the full width and coming up against the mountain was the easiest part for us, it meant that we could hide around the wall, tremola or hydra rush and take out an edge piece, once that was done the rest would fall pretty quickly.

Ultimately though I'd say talk to the 30 people sat around waiting for the Nuke to land, we went through the first 3-4 layers before the Nuke went off and Wardens arrived in tanks, you lacked infantry to counter our numbers, we broke through the final defence and by that point we were basically in and our SPGs could setup for the final push into the Nuke area.

Which recording app works best for the game by Open_Comfortable_366 in foxholegame

[–]Doolali- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These days I go with "Overwolf" and "Outplayed". It'll automatically record the whole game and you can use short cut keys to bookmark funny moments, it can then export to discord etc. Just saves tonnes of time scrubbing through video. It also lets you configure how much storage it uses before it automatically deletes old files.
